James Muro came to my house to replace a few missing shingles. From what I could tell, it was done professionally with no problems. James came to the house a few times to repair my roof after a few wind storms. I decided it was best to replace the entire roof and I asked James if he could do it. He stated he had a team that could replace the roof and made an estimate on the work. He told me he needed some cash up front to purchase some of the materials. Since I trusted him, I handed almost $2000 to him. He never returned to my house and he would not answer any phone calls. I was able to get the money back, but in payments over the next few months. Beware.

James Muro arrived at my home to estimate the repairs that were necessary on 1 AUG 2013. It took about two hours and he told me the cost would be $3500.00.  He started the work on 2 AUG 2013 and completed it on 9 AUG 2013.  He did not provide an itemized estimate and said he did not do contracts.  He stated that no permits were required for this work in El Paso.  I wrote a contract/ agreement that he did sign before work began and had the signatures witnessed by a personal friend.  His team completed all work that I agreed to on the estimate. James was professional and polite during the entire process. Glitch one - both turbines were installed crooked on the roof.  I told him they were not level to which he responded that they were as straight as they could be due to the slope of my roof (which is not steep by any means).  I will get someone else to do them correctly.  Glitch two - the eave vents (13 of them) were installed using four screws (each eave vent requires 6 screws) ( I did not catch this until the day after he completed the work).  Glitch three - I was walking around the back yard in the pool area and came around the corner to find one of his roofers relieving himself on the side of my house. Glitch four - the very first windy day following these repairs, the front turbine blew off the mount and landed in my neighbor back yard smashed to pieces.  One quick look told me the adjustment screw had never been tightened. 

  I attempted to call James and found the phone disconnected with no new listing.
