Professional Service. Expensive, but well worth the cost. The 3 man crew was clean and safe. The new water heater works very well. I will call them again for major plumbing jobs.

I will totally use them again.

I hired this company (Innovative) to install a sprinkler system that I
had designed with the Orbit Sprinkler System Designer.  I provided
detailed diagrams to Rudy and even provided the part numbers for the sprinkler
heads.  Innovative completely disregarded every conversation we had and
installed a system they designed and with cheaper, inferior parts and
sprinkler heads.   When I discovered this (I was out of town when the work was performed) I explained to the company
that they did not perform the work per our agreement.  The company then
proceeded to tell me they wanted full payment for the job and to correct
the work they performed BEFORE they would correct their errors.  I was out of town at the time, and I
explained to them that I would pay them for the part of the job they properly completed and that I
would complete payment in full upon completion of work as agreed.  The
company (supposedly) corrected the design and head issue and called me to explain
work was complete (I was still out of town again at this point).  Before
paying, I had the job inspected by a third party.  None of the PVC
irrigation lines had been covered (they were exposed).  I explained to
Innovative that I would pay them when they finished the job.  Innovative
explained that covering the lines would "cost extra." 
I explained to the company that I had never even heard of a business that
threatens to leave work incomplete -- let alone one that charges extra to cover irrigation lines in a sprinkler installation job -- and that I would report them to
the BBB and file suit against them for their deceptive practices. 
Rather than continue to deal with them, I explained I would pay them in
full less $100 to hire someone to properly bury the irrigation lines. 
They agreed and I have not communicated with the company since.
Fast forward to almost 2 years later (I now live in the house). I have
discovered the irrigation lines were installed at varying depths and not
in straight lines.  As such, I have sprinkler heads that are not all at
ground level.  This is going to probably cost around $500 to get properly repaired. 
Another landscape company explained the plumbing Innovative installed does not meet code.
Additionally, I have a 1" gap in my wall where Innovative failed to properly install electrical lines.

I would never call this company again for anything.  The work was not done as agreed and even getting them to perform partially was more of a hassle than even remotely worth.  I should have sued this company under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Arrived right on time. Very professional. Took about 15 minutes to solve a confusing wiring problem in my 80-year-old house. Installed and tested a new switch and the light fixture, and made sure other circuits were working properly. Would definitely use their service again.

Our initial review of Innovative Trades was glowing and deservedly so. But, after a recent conversation with a technician, I will never call them again. I received an invoice indicating that the work was done, but when I called back because the problems were recurring, I was told that they would not come back; that they had already "been to the house too many times". My jaw dropped! Consequently we are left with a toilet that is nearly impossible to flush and another with a dangling handle. Both "repairs" were on the $215 invoice, which I had promptly paid. Up to this conversation with the technician, we had always received excellent customer service from the office staff.

I live in Glendale AZ and my parents live in El Paso TX. We own the house in which they live. When I found out they had a leak in the supply line I searched Angiies list for a plumber. I liked what I read about Innovative Trades and emailed them. I received a phone call first thing the following morning. After a discussion about what I needed they arranged an appointment with my parents the same day. Not only did they fix the leak but they also replaced the kitchen faucet during the same service call. They were extremely efficient, courteous, and professional. I am so happy with the quality of work and professionalism. It is very comforting to have a reputable plumber that I can call from AZ who I know will take good care of my parents in TX.

My second encounter with Innovative Trades and again I was very pleased with the work they performed and their professionalism. This was also a home warranty company subsidized job, but in this case I needed to bare the majority of the cost. Innovative Trades showed clear commitment to getting the job done well and right. Rudy (co-owner) advised me and demonstrated to me the errors the builders had made in the initial install and where the leak was occurng. When the estimate was provided, the owners committed to no overages and that any extra time they would absorb. This was extremely helpful as I just had to replace a water heater a few days before. This particular repair was difficult because the team had to break my tile, remove shelves and drill into the concrete in my pantry area to access the waterlines and repair the leak. The leak was successfully fixed and Innovative Trades was nice enough to re-install the 2 broken tiles, re-install my pantry cabinets, installed replacement floorboards and also repaired the small cutouts in the sheetrock where they needed to access to work on the leak. Again, these items were done as a courtesy and I appreciate that as most providers will just leave these types of "collateral damage" repairs to the customer to figure out or charge you more to do them. They also left the place clear of any trash or parts packaging. I appreciate their work so much, I have already asked them to quote some bathroom upgrades!!!!

GREAT PROFESSIONAL PROVIDER! This is how I sum it all up. Innovative Trades was the vendor of choice by my Allied Home warranty to handle this issue and I am glad they were. It is very difficult to find a professional providers in the area who have great customer service, attention to detail and are not trying to gouge your pockets. Co-Owner Rudy is a hometown guy who is clearly an authority in plumbing and all around construction/ home improvement. His communication style is direct and easy and he does what he can to keep the price as low as possible. The other Co-Owner Rachel is also great! She handles the logistics, scheduling, pulling permits, etc and is very thorough and good on communicating to set follow-up appointments, city inspections, etc. Innovative Trades can do most home improvement repairs and I am now sold on them and will be a repeat customer. For those who may be concerned about language due to the area, Rudy and his crew are all bilingual which further attests to their professional flexibility. Innovative Trades shows up to your home or business with clearly marked company vehicles and ensures all trash is thrown away or hauled away as an additional detail. Pricing is fair for the market and of value based on their expertise and quality of work. They care about their business and they want to create repeat customers. Need more small businesses like this in El Paso!

These guys were amazing and we can't recommend them enough! They were brought to us by our home warranty because our water heater was leaking, but they will definitely be our go-to team for any plumbing needs for as long as we live here. They were not only professional and friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure our system was safe and we wouldn't encounter the same problems again. Rudy, the owner, wasn't happy with the way the tubes and valves that connected our water to the water heater, ice maker and swamp coolers were set up by the original builder, so he left to purchase new ones. He re-did everything correctly and explained it all as he installed it. Then he explained in detail how to operate and maintain our new water heater. At the end of the call he didn't even charge us for all the extra work even though we tried to pay him for it. It's people like this who deserve the best ratings on Angie's List and everywhere else - the ones who take so much pride in what they do that shortcuts aren't an option for them. Now we feel safe and secure and our home is improved by true professionals. If you care about your home and safety, these are the guys to call.

R and L plumbing did a great job repairing my toilet.

Excellent! Rudy, the owner plus assistant performed all tasks in a no nonsence manner. Area was clean when complete, a little pricey, but worth the cost.

It was covered by our home warranty. We did not hire them for the fence and the gas work, they just fixed the spigot. They were very expensive. It took them like a week to get us the estimate and he said he was going to get it the next day.

I talk to them about once a month. If I don't call them, they call me. Their service is outstanding. They are extremely courteous and they are willing to work with individuals. I am going to use them to fill in the pool when I have the money. My family considers the owner and his employees as part of our family. We wouldn't go with anybody else.

The team did an excellent job. It ended up being a three day job.The doors were put in one day.The second day was reinstalling the storm doors and adding door sills and weather stripping and painting of the inside of the doors. Day three was painting the outside of the doors and cleaning up. I have found that Innovative Trades either does daily clean-ups or if more clean-up will be necessary throughout the project they will stack each day and haul away at the end of the project. They will do it however the customer wants to do the clean-up.We opted for stacking and hauling off when project was completed.

The switch that had to be rewired was a 3 way switch to the family room, therefore the switch in the family room also had to be rewired.
Rudy arrived on time and finished the job within his quoted time frame.

Excellent service, knowledge, and punctuality. Will definitely hire them again.

My experience with the Cutting Edge Staff and crew was exceptionally pleasant. All my concerns were addressed promptly and professionally.  Will I use their services again..... In a heartbeat.

Everything went smoothly and there was no wasted time. The men listened to suggestions I wanted and incorporated them when it was
possible. Their trucks and vans are clean and  well maintained. The workers are uniformed, their names on their shirts, friendly & very professional.

Everything I said about the workers who did my waterfall, also goes for those that installed my new water heater. Rudy checked in and out on all work that was preformed.

The were very efficient. I highly recommend this company.

They are coming back in a couple of weeks to remodel both my bathrooms.
