My home is not even 4 years old. I am the original owner. I have had multiple leaks in the roof. There was extensive interior water damage. After having the roof replaced, I continued to have interior water damage. It was determined that I had leaking from faulty stucco application and with poorly sealed exterior. I also have had water seep in through the foundation in one corner of the house. The garage door was installed incorrectly. After only minimal use it buckled and had to be replaced. Three of my four toilet tanks have cracked and had to be replaced. The downstairs air conditioning unit was installed, but never hooked up. It had to be hooked-up only after hiring an independent air conditioning repair company. Drip/drainage lines are now located externally (instead of behind the walls/ceiling). The drainage pan under the master bath has a huge leak. Several professionals (plumber, roofers, home inspectors) believe it probably happened tile instillation. The leak has ruined the living room ceiling. The tile has to be pulled-up to replace the pan. The builder had guaranteed to make all repairs within the first 12 months. At first, he would send people in to do repairs. The roof leaked around the air conditioning vent. People would do haphazard repairs. The roof would continue to leak. He was given an extensive list of things that needed to be addressed. We finally just stopped hearing from him. It was futile to expect that he, our builder, was ever going to fix anything.
