Ganey Construction

Description of Work: Mr. Ganey came to our home to review the work that would be required to remodel TWO of the main bathrooms in my mother's 1950's home. Both bathrooms are in terrible shape and only one is operational, so we really needed to have the bathrooms remodeled. He has been patient and thoughtful in dealing with my 80 year old mother and he provided a CLEAR WRITTEN ESTIMATE (uncharacteristic of contractors in the Southwest) and also answered many of our questions. Mother has yet to commit to remodeling the bathrooms, but I am confident we will be working with Mr. Ganey in the future!

Description of Work: Gave us a quote, then I asked for senior citizen discount , he reviewed his numbers Again...said he already gave discount in bid knowing it was my moms house. After he was awarded the job, he said he gave us "His Cost" for a bid and it would be at least $2000 more. Needless to say, I looked for another builder. Mistakes happen.... ??

Description of Work: Julius Lowenberg of Lowenberg Construction gave me a quote to completely remodel my kitchen after it was gutted by ServePro due to a water leak. The quote was high (or so we thought), so we ended up hiring a half-price contractor who was such a major disappointment and disaster that Lowenberg's original quote would have been a bargain had we hired him originally. I called him after being forced to fire Mark Torres of Markus Maximus Renovations to see if he could pick up the pieces. He did, and within hours crews of specialized workers were in my kitchen turning my mess into a gorgeous new kitchen. You truly do get what you pay for and although his prices are not bargain basement, you will get SKILLED workers who take pride in their work. There was one man who spent several hours working on the window sill over my kitchen sink smoothing it out and painting it. And not once did Mr. Lowenberg come back and tell me I owed more than his quote. I will definitely work with Lowenberg again when we start more home remodeling projects.

Description of Work: I left a total of 3 messages (between 10/13/11 - 10/25/11) at both #'s provided by Angie's List. I finally got in touch with him on 10/25/11 to be told he does not do V.A. loan construction.

Description of Work: I AM A REDESIGNER AND MUCH OF MY WORK REQUIRES SOME REMODELING, FROM SIMPLE CHANGES TO COMPLEX ADD-ONS. I'VE WORKED WITH JULIUS LOWENBERG OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS AND FIND THAT HIS WORK IS THE PERFECTION I REQUIRE AND OUR COMMUNICATION WITH EACH OTHER AND MY CLIENTS IS NOT ONLY SUCCESSFUL BUT A PLEASURE.. I APPRECIATED HIS PROMPTNESS AND PROFESSIONALISM, AND ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING AS A REMODELER!
