EP Appliance Repair

Terrible bad, one visit and nothing, second visit and nothing, from there were all lies. Promised refund and again lies. Yesterday after posted review in another site he called me with threats and behaved as a gangster. Be careful with this George Smith, all the supposedly "good reviews" are fake or posted by family/friends. Amongst his threats was that of "taking me to court", but if the runs a scam business it is obvious that no lawyer will help a thief like George Smith and El Paso Appliance Repair.

George from EP appliance repair called ahead showed up on time and remedied the issue in a short time. I cant speak for all their subcontractors but George was quick, courteous, and professional. Will call again with more work. Tony

Great. It turned out that the coils were very dirty. They did a deep cleaning and all was back to normal.

The vendor is very undependable. Phone calls, text messages go unanswered. I was charged almost $300 to purchase a part and the repair service, and the refrigerator is still not working. I tried calling for three days without any answer or resolution. I had to call another vendor to do the work. I am out $300 plus whatever the new vendor charges. I would not recommend EP Appliance Repair.

Received work from George Smith on 1-23-16. He replaced the transmission for washer. He was about to leave, until my housekeeper said the washer was not working or draining correctly. Mr. Smith had to come out another day finish the work and left. The housekeeper found out the washer still was not working correctly, and I called George out again. He said it would be better to get another washer to replace the one I had, instead of waiting for the part to come in, which would be about a week or so. I didn't know I would have to make a decision on getting another washer. He replaced it the next day. When the housekeepers were using the replacement, it was making noises, and they ran the washer with the noises over the phone to Mr. Smith. I called to make an appt. for him to come out, and I waited for him on that day. He never showed up. I called 2 other times, but never received a phone call back. This washer was supposed to be under warranty, but when the owner doesn't respond, then I surely question the validity of the warranty. This company is a hit and miss, and pretty much a one-man operation. Mr. Smith is nice and appears professional, but the quality of the work is average to below average from what I experienced.

Evaluated dryer and got it up working in about 20 minutes.
He is very knowledgeable and professional. I would hire him
again.

George is the owner and answered my phone call. He
scheduled an appointment for the next day, and called before he arrived.
My dryer was not working at all and I had an issue with my washer.
He fixed both issues. To him it was simple solutions. If you need an appliance repair
George is knowledgeable and explains what he is doing. He is professional and gives
a fair price.

2) He is a member of Better Business Bureau
3) He does outstanding work and a good price.
4)He communicates well.
5) He offers a 1 year warranty
If you are afraid to hire an appliance repair person, fear not George is your guy!!!

George was prompt and repaired the wash machine quickly- no more problems.  Checked the roof vent for the dryer and identified problems- roofer had sealed it up essentially.  He returned and corrected the vent the way it is supposed to be and cleaned it out- dryer much more efficient and working well.  George is the best! Had used him before. Appreciate everything about the service.  Highly recommend!
