When we reached out to Mr. Rubio to inquire on how to use CCTV cameras he had installed on a property he sold, things got weird and a bit scary. Taking me off guard as I was introducing myself and thanking him for responding to my inquiry, he suddenly became verbally aggressive, disrespectful and refused to speak about the cameras (which was the sole reason I made contact) and began raging about how the property's new owner owes him $500 in utilities, which we know nothing about. This was unexpected and awkward. No one knows what he is talking about, and we have asked everyone that might know. He hasn't provided us or the property's buyer any utility bills, something we didn't know was an issue for him. This creates concerns about the character of Daniel Rubio, owner of DR Construction in El Paso, Texas. Daniel Rubio became verbally aggressive, disrespectful, and kept yelling that the property's buyer (who is not us) owes him $500. I tried explaining that we did not know anything about it and that he should email us so we could forward his claim, but he kept yelling over me and would not listen to anything being said. I had to hang up on him. Nobody knows what these $500 are about at this time. I have asked everyone that might know, including the property's buyer he accuses. Our entire office was concerned about Mr. Rubio's behavior, which was not provoked in any way. Our reaching out to him was solely to inquire on the use of cameras he had installed. We are being told that Daniel Rubio has been watching these cameras. If these reports are true (only Daniel Rubio would know), it is disturbing. I'm not sure what to think about Mr. Rubio, but the general public should know he becomes aggressive without provocation or warning. I never imagined I'd be on the receiving end of his misdirected wrath when I reached out to inquire about cameras he had installed. Beware if doing business with Daniel Rubio and DR Construction in El Paso, Texas.

I have contracted with D.R. Construction on two different projects, both for painting (one exterior and one interior). Both projects turned out amazing! It was a pleasure working with Danny and his team. They are professional and knowledgeable and from the results it is apparent they have a wealth of experience. I really couldn't be happier and am now looking at a third project with them. I highly recommend D.R. Construction!

I hired DR Construction for structural roof repair and soffit replacement. Danny was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He provided us with a detailed quote, work schedule, and service contract. He and his team hit the quoted price exactly. Best of all, the work looks great and was finished on time. I'm looking forward to working with Danny again, and I recommend his company highly.

Danny and his crew were very helpful with all of my concerns. Attentive to my desires and needs ie my time frame and specifics to what I wanted. This is our second remodel with his company and will have them do the next one.

This is the second remodel DR Construction has done for us. Our experience was nothing short of wonderful both times. This remodel was a complete redo of a bathroom to make a roll-in shower for an elderly woman. They had to take the room down to the studs and had to break concrete to move plumbing. The work was done quickly and with great craftsmanship. We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely cal DR Construction again.

I want to start with the fact that this review is over a year old and with time I remain very happy with the services I was provided. Overall Danny was very professional. Quality of work was very good. The price was fair. Danny stands by his work and now I suspect it is cause it was done right from the start. This job was extensive requiring tearing down the shower to what studs were salvageable and concrete. New custom cabinets, countertops, vessel sinks, standalone tub, lighted mirrors, added heater and exhaust, as well as additional lighting. Of course all the tile was done throughout and toilet replace. He even made a custom very solid barn style door where none existed into our master bedroom. After interviewing 6 contractors for this job I am glad we chose D.R. and he is the first person we call when we are ready for our kitchen remodel. BTW he helped us with obtaining financing. He took disbursement of funds based on work completion level all spelled out contractually. Have recommended him to any of our friends who have asked.

Rodrigo is a star! He arrived on time, fixed another contractors shoddy work, explained what he did, gave me information for future services. All of that and he was knowledgable, professional, and friendly. I absolutely recommend DR Construction for any needed HVAC work.

Excellent job. Workers are on time every day and do quality work. Great detail to prep work and replacement of damaged siding prior to painting with Sherwin Williams Rejuvenate paint. Made the house look like new. Would not hesitate to hire D. R Construction for any job.

Excellent job! We were still living out of state while the crew painted the whole interior, including all trim, ceilings and walls in a 2600 sq ft home. It was so beautiful when we moved in and so very pleased!

We contacted no less than 6 contractors for our project and interviewed 5. Many of them would only do part of the project or failed to even complete the estimate process. Danny at DR construction stood out for his honesty and timeliness. I even cold called two previous clients and both had high praise for his work. His estimate was fair and in the end the work was great. Contracts were utilized and all changes were tracked. Disbursement schedules were set which gave us piece of mind and it worked out great for us that he offered financing. Danny’s pride in his work was evident through out as the few concerns we had were already on his radar before we told him and he was very hesitant to let anything that was not high quality go unchecked. The master bath was essentially gutted to the studs and shower had to be reframed due to poor initial builder construction resulting in some rot. This project involved new floor tile, new bath, new cabinets, new glass shower enclosure, quartz countertops, painting and custom barndoor install. Danny was responsive and handled all subcontractors. He was flexible with schedule when we needed it and we always felt comfortable with the workers. We were grateful for the assistance and honesty with design choices by Danny’s partner and wife Marie. In the end we are very satisfied and confident Danny will still help us even though the job is complete. When we are ready for our kitchen remodel we will call DR Construction again. Responded very quickly, we were able to get a quote fast. The work took a day and a half, and looks better than the original. Had to make a couple repairs due to moving, and I will be definitely calling them again after we find our new house for anything we want done.

Converted an older bathroom into a modern wheelchair accessible bathroom. A little pricey but well worth the extra money for the quality they gave us. You get what you pay for and would without a doubt use them again. We are not the easiest customers and they took care of any and every concern we had.

Overall experience was excellent. Very professional, job was done properly and price was very fair. When I requested a quote they were on time and a contract was written which made me feel very comfortable. Everything that was promised, got delivered. Excellent work! Quality was amazing. A lot of attention to detail from Rodrigo and his workers when removing the old HVAC system and installing the new one. Received professional advice throughout the whole process and was always informed on changes. Very mindful of my questions and concerns. Rodrigo went above and beyond to meet the agreed timeline without compromising quality of work.

Excellent job! Had to wait for some parts to be ordered, but work was done in a professional manner. In addition, all staff/workers were polite, punctual and respectful of my personal space and items. I also felt safe when workers were in my house while I was at work. The Owner/Supervisor was always available and easy to get in touch with. Responded to all calls, text messages and emails. I highly recommend DR Construction and will use them for future jobs.

I had them replace base boards and some drywall after water heater leak/flood. They did a great job and even installed a plastic waterproof wall panel in the garage area. Good job matching the paint as well. Very professional and I trusted them to do the work without me being there. Completed in one day. I plan on using Daniel again in the future.
