I have two other cats and a dog. All of my pets have always received excellent care from the three vets at this practice: Dr. Ninni, Dr. Rachael Klein, and Dr. Hopp. I would recommend them to anyone.
"As new members to Angie's List, I would like to finally be able to respond to your comments. I am Dr. Hopp, one of the owners of Desert East Animal Hospital. I am so sorry you were treated that way by any former or current staff members during that difficult time for you. I can assure you that I had no knowledge you had been treated that way. I am confident that my current staff members would never intentionally disrespect you or your pets in an way. I can also assure you and other clients that we treat all of our clients and their pets with respect. I wish you had contacted me or Dr. Klein 2 years ago and I would have addressed your concerns and complaints then. Please accept our sincerest apologies for your loss of your pet."
Desert East had reasonable prices; many vets charge more for teeth cleaning and seem to skip steps (like blood work) which added to the initial quote. The vets at Desert East are all knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. They treat my dogs and me with respect, they listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and spend the time they need to keep my dogs healthy and happy. Even though "mean" things happen to my dogs there, such as shots, blood work, and surgery, my pups don't show a ton of anxiety when we go. That tells me they are treated well when I am not around. That's really important when the patient can't speak up for themselves.
I would give them an A+, but I don't have the option.
