She did not take an x ray, but said he needed an immediate surgery - cruciate ligament injury and advised me to get financing. I decided to get a second opinion from another veterinarian who performed alternate treatments for my pet. My pet was much better after treatment with the other vet without needing the costly and unnecessary surgery. My dog is much better, is not limping thanks to the other vet so I will not go back to see Dr. Harvey. I paid her for the meds provided, but I was not happy with her diagnosis or the cost just for the consultation. The surgery would have cost a lot more.

The lady who owns this clinic is a very able veterinarian and I have used them regularly for several years. She is very competent, explains what she is doing and has an affinity for the animals she treats. She has 32 dogs at home and also takes care of birds, snakes and all sorts of other animals that other veterinarians normally don't take care of. The veterinarian is very thorough and I like the way she approaches the animals; she is very kind. Her appointments are on time.

Everything went great, the vet and vet tech spent about 45 minutes with talking about the food allergies and gave me a list of foods to purchase and where I could purchase them. They specified that it did not matter what brand name the food was, just that it did not contain any of the proteins she was allergic too. I am very happy with this vet.

After more than 20 years of taking our cats to this vet, we recently had a really bad experience there. I don't know if Dr. Harvey has overexpanded or what. Kitty was there for a long day of tests. People who said they'd call with progress reports did not do so. A tech I asked for hints on medicating just shrugged his shoulders. The next day, after I "lost it" on the phone with several people, the head vet tech came by our house to help with meds. A couple of weeks later, kitty is minimally better, but no followup call from Harvey's office.

Dr. Harvy there is an extremely thorough diagnostician. If you have a problem with your dog she will work with you until she identifies the problem. We have six pure bread dogs so we visit her a lot. We have had dogs diagnosed with elbow and hip dysplasia to life threatening conditions like spontaneous pneumothorax which is when the lung bursts for some reason. She had always provided a quick diagnoses. She also provides a very quick referral for out of town clinics if she thinks a problem is beyond her. She gave us two referrals for the elbow dysplasia for one of our dogs. You sometimes have to wait a long time to see her depending on the emergencies in the clinic.

The price for veterinarians is terrible. I stopped going to the doctor because the cost is as much. The prices have escalated over the years. I do not blame them; all of them are that way. That is what even my friends tell me. In terms of quality, she and her staff are really good. In terms of punctuality, sometimes I have to wait a lot, for a long time.

I am very pleased. My cat needed emergency care and even though I was a new client, the squeezed me into their busy day. Many other local vets wouldn't even bother with me on a Monday being a new client. My cat received excellent care and made a wonderful recovery. They called for several days afterwards to check on her welfare. They cared about her and about me. I highly recommend them.

This was my first visit to Country Club Animal Clinic. The website implies the main vet at the clinic is Dr. Harvey. A dog-owner in the very-crowded waiting room told me Dr. Harvey is an excellent vet. However, my dog didn't see her; my dog was treated by Dr. Esposito. As far as giving my puppy her shots and the microchip, Dr. Esposito completed the work required. My dogs are my family, though, and I look for the same qualities in a vet that I look for in a family doctor. I like a vet who has time to answer my questions and to talk about the health of my animal from a big picture standpoint. Dr. Esposito was all business -- so much so, the "bedside manner" was lacking. He only spoke to the assistant and didn't look me in the eye. He was about to zoom out the door without asking or telling me anything, when I stopped him to ask a question. He answered the question, but was in a big hurry to leave. Although my puppy received adequate health care during her one visit to Country Club Animal Clinic, I won't be returning. There are enough vets in El Paso that I can find one who will have time to really get to know me and my animals.
