THey were very friendly and the dogs looked forward to going there. The place was old but very clean. They took very good care of the dogs.

We're always very pleased with this kennel. I was looking for a boarding kennel with indoor/outdoor runs, preferably in far east El Paso, though I was willing to drive farther if necessary to find a place I could feel confident leaving my dog(s). I dropped by to check out A&L and they welcomed me inside to view their facility on the spot. You can bring your dog's own food and they'll feed per your instructions. Our first time at A&L years ago they added hamburger broth to my dog's kibble, which I'm sure she loved, but which might have been a bit rich for her. So if your dog eats dry food you can specify that in your instructions. They'll give my dogs the bones and chew-things I leave for them, the remainders of which are then returned to me when we leave. (In some kennels the bones always disappear.) They provide blankets for your dog, or you can bring your own bedding. The one time I did bring my own blanket I was surprised when they returned it to me washed and folded. Finally, the folks at A&L are amicable and knowledgeable. Be aware that they fill to capacity far in advance of major holidays. -Zahn
