Veranda Place

It was a horrible experience. Within the first few months, the closet door had fallen off the hinge. I was repeatedly told that it would be repaired but it took about 6 months for that to happen. There was also a problem with cockroaches and despite work orders, the problem remained through the day I moved out (I'm a clean person and did not leave food/dirty dishes out). Raid and other pest control products were not successful. When the garbage disposal broke, waste water started backing up into the dishwasher. It reeked of sewage and I let office personnel know this when I put in the work order. Again, it took over a month, during which the entire apartment smelled like a dumpster, for this to be fixed. The dryer was not working for about 2 months. It just happened that maintenance was painting one of the bedrooms when the problem actually got fixed (instead of months before when the work order was placed). Upon final inspection, I was told that my apartment was clear. However, a month later I received a bill for painting despite having been told there was no work that needed to be done.
