iNot well as mentioned above. He was too slow because he wouldnt show up in a timely manner. Sometimes he did stay late but only because it was late afternoon when he would appear. He needs to focus on his current jobs. I think he overwhelmed himself with work and couldnt do it all. My son in law was one of his trainees and had to finish the job on his own. We paid him and another young man as Mr. Harris wouldnt pay them in a timely manner or at all. When we took our money to pay them on Hartris's behalf, he okayed the payment, but Harris said what money we paid them was on us and not part of his bid and failed to give us the receipt he had promised for the wages. Mr. Harris was supposed to bring another bid to us with some added changes, but failed to do so. He also didnt finish the first bid in its entirety. Mr. Harris said the job was taking too long and he was losing money. If he showed up, it shouldn't have taken so long. When the job was completed by my son in law, Harris had the audacity to want my son in law to send pictures of the completion, so he could use them in his advertising! He is a nice looking, smooth talking young man, but buyer beware. UPDATE: It has rained twice since the roofing job was done by Harris. The first time all was okay. Two days ago it rained and the roof leaked in the same place. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company. Called another roofer and he has to take off all of Harris's work and redo because of shoddy work!
Description of Work: Mr. Harris previously did a roofing repair job for us, and we were pleased with his job. We hired him to redo our kitchen for $5600. We paid him $4650 for the job. He would show up late or not at all. Leave work for hired inexperienced hired help (trainees) and would not pay the trainees. We paid them 1000 as he requested, then said what we paid them was on us, not part of his bid. We finally got tired of the length of time (2 1/2 months) and let him go under heated circumstances. He left a pile of debris that we had to clean up. We are in our 60s and not the best of health. The job took too long, he was often not at the job site, and would not bring the second bid to us with added changes. He said he underbid the project and it took too long and he was losing money. Buyer beware.
