Howard was great! He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. His pricing was fair and he was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Nice guy as well. We would definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future.

Variety Appliance Repair was great, they got back to me quickly when I called for service and came out for non-emergency repairs within 48 hours. Howard was able to diagnose an easy fix for a problem with my ice maker frosting up, and although the dryer repair was a little trickier, requiring a second trip the following week because of an additional part needed for the thermostat after replacing the heating element, he got it all taken care of. I'd recommend them anytime for appliance repair work!

I have used them 3 times. I have used them once a month. My equipment was 10 yeas old and they fixed it. I needed the equipment repaired right away and it was hard to find somebody to repair it on a Saturday. They have a network of contractors and will send somebody out if they cannot come out. They do the work quickly and have quality service. I am happy with them.

Although he had not worked on Beverage air except once before, he took on the job, drove from Duncanville and worked diligently until all repairs were made. He is my go to appliance repairman now.

This was my first use of this service provider. They were selected based on rating, proximity and indicating Saturday business hours. At first they indicated they were booked up on Saturday. A Monday appointment was made but I expressed I really needed service that day on Saturday. As I continued research for an alternative provider the owner of the company called and expressed he was determining if technician schedules could accommodate a visit that day. Shortly after a call was received from a technician name Joe indicating he would arrive in a bout 40 minutes. Joe arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, had the part on hand and completed the repair in just a few minutes. The cost and more importantly being able to have a repair the same day on a Saturday was a great value.

Howard is the man.
After having a great experience with Variety when my washing machine needed a repair, I called them to come take a look at our Viking refrigerator. Another provider had come out to replace the thermostat and left before he was sure the refrigerator was working. It wasn't.
I called Variety and Howard himself came out for the call. He was fantastic. Diagnosed all the major components, figured out the issue, double checked everything, cleaned up, and gave me some instructions on how to make sure it really is working 12 hours later. He was generous with his time and his experience, just an all around great experience.
If I ever have a household appliance issue, Howard and Variety will be who I call, no questions asked.

Variety was great, I will absolutely use them again when the need arises.
When our Samsung washing machine wouldn't drain, we first called another provider who came out and we thought fixed it but turns out they hadn't (see another of my reviews). I decided to go with someone else and was referred to Howard Snell and Variety Appliance Repair by John's Appliance Repair (who gets tons of stellar reviews) when they said they don't service my area.
I called, Howard answered, and we set an appointment for within 24 hours. Byron, the service tech, showed up right on time and nailed it. He was personable, knowledgeable, confident and most importantly skilled enough to complete the job. He clearly knew what he was doing, especially vs. the prior tech. He diagnosed the issue, confirmed it was a bad pump (after checking to make sure it wasn't just clogged), replaced it, and then tested the machine. Cleaned up after the repair as well.
Absolutely terrific service, great value, and I can't recommend Howard and the Variety team highly enough.

Except for arriving 30 minutes later that agreed upon time, quickly found problem and completed repair.

Mr. Snell was very professional when taking my call and he was very detailed when asking questions about the service I need. My front washer door seal became defective as of last night and Mr. Snell assured me he would be able to come to our home on the same day as the service call-TODAY! He gave me a two hour window in which I should expect him. He was early and very professional by greeting me at the door with his business card. I was impressed because i did not have to ask for it. After making his diagnostic test, he told me the cost of the repair, repaired it quickly, left the area tidy after repair. He offered multiple ways for the form of payment and shared the parts manufacturer's and Variety Appliance Repair warranties. That was comforting information. He was able to take my card information on his cell phone which made it convenient for me. I will tell others about Variety Appliance Repair. I had a wonderful experience.

They were extremely courteous and arrived promptly as scheduled within the agreed 2-hour window, calling in advance. Mr. Snell was very knowledgeable about all of the various appliances - including my specific brands. He was ethical and honest - he could have easily told me he needed to replace my ice maker resulting in a higher expense (when a tube was just frozen) and I would have never known the difference. He even gave me a couple of useful tips regarding maintenance I could perform myself on other appliances. I definitely recommend Variety Appliance and will use them again.

It worked out great and he came right out within 2 hours. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. He got the job done in less than an hour. They sent just one guy out to do the job. There was no hard sale and he didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want, and he gave me options for the repair.
