HORIZON CARRIERS

I chose Horizon because of their low price, and most of the move went very smoothly. The crew was on time, punctual, and polite. They handled my antiques very well. Also, Stephen, the owner, was very articulate and helpful throughout the process. The only problem I had with the whole experience was the fact that, during the move, my mirror was broken and left in the back of the den where all the belongings had been moved, and where I could not see until about a week later, finally made my way to the back of the pile. I wouldn't have minded except that I felt like they were trying to conceal the fact that it had been broken. If they had told me, I would not have been angry. I did, however, follow up with Stephen, the owner, and he agreed to pay for the damages if I had it fixed. Overall, the move went well, I was just a little disappointment with the fact that it seemed like the crew tried to conceal the broken mirror.

They did a really nice job. They were very reasonable. They showed up on time.

The movers arrived as scheduled at approximately 5pm and loaded their truck until the entire household was completed, basically without a break. They stayed light on their feet despite the stairs at both the origin and destination, working until almost midnight. The crew was courteous and professional and very conscientious about avoiding damage to the items or the house. Excellent value at $70 per hour, nearly half of per piece quotes received from other companies.

I am very particular about my stuff, and I was quite satisfied with both the quality and price of this move. Nothing arrived broken or dinged up. They were fast, efficient, pleasant to talk to and work with. Stephen is a nice guy.
