"Reviewing my service notes (I document every call), I found that I ran the unit thru the wash cycle and it did not malfunction. Customer was using an off-brand detergent that caused excessive sudsing in the wash cycle. On the Duet washer, this will give an F6 code, jst as a bad pump will do. I advised customer to change detergent and use the proper amount. Also cleaned the drain pump filter. Did not hear back from customer, so it was assumed all was well. This customer failed to mention a successful dishwasher repair on 10/3/2014, and it is unclear why I was never contacted regarding the washer issue until this review was published."
I don't know what else to say. He doesn't know it yet, but he's our guy now.
As warned we did have to wait 2 weeks for the part. The repair went smoothly. I will definitely use them again for our appliance repairs.
"This report is not factual in its entirety...my service charge has always been a flat fee, ranging from $109. to $129. depending on travel distance. The ignitor this customer mentions indeed sells for more than $69 if he were to drive to the parts house and purchase it himself. I was completely up front as I always am before committing a customer to any repair. Honesty is the best policy!"
