Randy did a great job in a timely fashion. His patience was amazing. We had no experience with remodeling and he had to walk us through some of the process by explaining our options. There were several times that we just had him decide what was best. HIs years of experience and courteous manner led to our complete trust in him. Halfway into the project I changed my mind about a tile backsplash and he had to redo some electrical work. He took it in stride. One of the main reasons his prices are so reasonable is that he does a lot of the work himself. He is not just a supervisor. He was on the job about 85% of the 3 weeks it took.

We've used this contractor since around 2003 or 2002 and ALWAYS call him because he is conscientious and punctual and does quality work or makes sure it gets done right. We are moving to California and woe to us because we can't call Randy Sansom anymore. I know he does work all around Austin and lots of high end work. He is a stand up contractor. He gets busy and the busier he is the scruffier he looks. We trust him completely. I know that he is always busy despite only getting work by reputation and word of mouth. Since we are going he loses a client that uses him about every two years so I will get the work out on Angie's List so that someone else out there can fill that hole! Anyone would be lucky to have such a stand up guy on their project.

Randy was very responsive from the moment we called him. We explained to him what needed to be done and he was over at the house on a Sunday morning to take a look and give us an estimate. We were surprised that he was willing to drive out on a Sunday morning all the way from Dripping Springs. He was very knowledgeable and gave us some very good advice. He showed up on the days he told us he'd be here and was on time every single day. He and his crew worked very fast, did great work, and cleaned up before leaving every day they were here. The guy does amazing work! And, his prices are very fair. We had other construction companies come out who quoted us up to four times of what we paid Randy. And, the other guys could either do this and not that or that and not this. They were also very little help in recommending companies who could do what they couldn't. That was not the case with Randy. Randy did it all with the exception of the plumbing. And, the plumbing job he passed on to a plumber he's worked with before - Steve Jones Plumbing. Both gentlemen did fast, quality work, and were very professional. I would call on Randy for help first before going to anyone else.

Randy has been our contractor and run numerous projects for us since 2003. We are in Dripping Springs but I know that a large number of his clients are Rob Roy, central Austin, Barton Creek. We get treated as well as his high end clients. He does not advertise due to so many referrals. He has been asked by customers to do projects quite a ways away for second homes and he has gone. I wish he would come to California with us!
Randy monitors his subcontractors carefully. Randy is timely with completion of the projects. He himself does excellent woodworking as evidenced by the beautiful wood garage door that he made for us. He has even taken care of the redesign we wanted on our iron stair banister with wooden handrail. We have used his subcontractors at times independent of him for things such as carpet and painting since they are reliable.
We have spent around $220,000 in the last 8 years on projects with him and have no complaints. He is not overpriced, very fair. We would not have gone back to him so repeatedly if we did not feel so. He is not flashy - just a guy that pays attention to detail, works hard and cares about the quality he delivers.

They did a good job. They took 2 days and 3 workers did the entire job. They were reasonably priced. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

He is excellent and he has been doing work for us for ten years. His prices are reasonable. He is absolutely responsible and does what he says he is going to do. He is smart and can do what he says he can do.

On time, detailed, careful. He oversees his subcontractors carefully and does trim work himself. i've learned over the years that when he ask, "Are you sure?", that means I should put more thought into my choice/decision, e.g., stained concrete floor) because he has much experience with what customers are going to want in the long run. He definitely listens to the customer. I know that he works in Austin as well as the Dripping Springs area. He stays quite busy even though his projects are all by word of mouth referral. We are about to use him again for overseeing repairs and another bathroom update that we are doing in order to put our house on the market. It is so much easier for us to have Randy coordinate a project with so many different aspects. He knows who to use and handle the deatils of getting it together i the right order.
