Our HOA?s experience with Bee Cave Drilling in Dripping Springs, TX has been frustrating from day one. They installed a water well for our community, but the quality of their work and their lack of accountability raised serious concerns. To start, the electrical system was improperly wired, creating multiple safety hazards ? including three of their own workers being shocked. I was surprised to find out that they do not use licensed electrician during installs. I had to hire a licensed electrician to fix their mistakes, but Bee Cave Drilling refused to reimburse us for the cost. Fast forward five years, the pump they installed has now failed. According to the new drilling company making the repairs, this failure was likely caused by poor installation from the start. The wiring was damaged ? possibly from being dragged along the steel casing ? and the jacket had been stripped with multiple splices near the pump. At that depth, the extreme pressure can cause shorts and system failure.

Please, I beg you, DO NOT USE BEE CAVE DRILLING EVER! Absolutely horrendous service. Bee Cave put in our well almost 4 years ago. In July, our water pressure went out. We called Bee Cave to come out, and they came out same day. Unfortunately, the technician that came out put a faulty electrical panel on, so the problem didnâ t get fixed. He then told us it would require them to dig up the entire well, a $10,000 price tag, and they wouldnâ t be able to come back until the following Tuesday, leaving my family without water for 4 days. They returned Tuesday, with a new technician, who replaced our electrical panel again, and said everything was fixed. Meanwhile, they charged our card for a $5,000 deposit. Now we come to today. We woke up Monday with no water pressure. We contacted Bee Cave once again due to an assumption it was a warranty issue. They told us they would come to our home the next day. So Tuesday rolls around, no phone call, no technician. We finally call and leave a messages with the answering service at approx 4:55, and they inform us someone will get back to us. At approx 5:30, we still have not received a call, so we call back to the answering service, they inform us that Bee Cave wonâ t be getting the message until the following day because it was now after 5pm. About 45 minutes after that, my husband receives a message that our account is â no service with Bee Cave Drilling and they will not be coming to our property.â This is ridiculous. No communication. You mess up the first time around, then wonâ t even take responsibility for the mess up and fix it. Terrible customer service. Terrible business.

These are responsive, courteous professionals who know their business, and communicate very, very well as the project proceeds. They answer all of my questions thoroughly so I can make the best decisions for myself.

Even with hundreds of service calls, they kept me updated on a timeline for my repair and worked around their schedule to come earlier than expected. The tech was friendly, explained all the options and equipment to me and gave us several tips on how to maintain the equipment since we're newbies to having a well. Excellent experience all the way around.

Our house is on top of a hill, our well is at the bottom of the hill, the well pumps water into a 1500 gallon tank next to our house on top of the hill. Our water is pumped into the house via booster pump. We had no water to the house, and I checked the holding tank to find it empty. I thought for sure my below surface pump was defective. I called Bee Cave Drilling on Saturday morning on Labor Day Weekend and they came out promptly, and found the problem, by the way, was not the submerged pump. They were professional and very well qualified. If we have any more well problems, you can be sure I'll call Bee Cave Drilling first!
