It went very well.  The original control had been installed improperly when the house was built.  Jim had to do some extra work (2 additional 90 degree connectors) to straighten that out.  As an added benefit, the flow and temperature have both improved.

The plumber surprised me by arriving on time. He replaced our kitchen faucet which had deteriorated to the point of mere drips and dribbles. In the process he replaced some old lines and cut-off valves. In addition, at my request, he removed the spent anode rod from the water heater and suggested that it not be replaced, saving money. He did replace the flex tubes to the heater, which were in bad shape.
He cleaned up after himself.
He did not waste time and was friendly and professional throughout.

After much frustration resulting from some pretty shoddy workmanship that our builder’s plumbing subcontractors did in the garage area around our tank less water heater, sediment filter and water softener, we called Clearwater to correct the situation. Our new construction 1 year warranty is in place to address plumbing problems, but after 2 different visits to correct the areas mentioned above, we were always left with less than satisfactory results. Jim returned our initial call within 15 minutes. We made an appointment and he came out to personally discuss our concerns. While there he performed water tests for softness, iron content etc., and made suggestions as to the various courses of action we could take, as well as give us a ballpark figure of the costs. We then set an appointment for the work. The work was completed in a most prompt, professional and efficient manner. Bob and Eli who came out on the call were both very friendly and informative as they went about performing the work. They explained everything and answered all our questions. After work was completed, they left the area in very clean and orderly fashion and cheerfully applied our 5% Angies discount coupon.

Mr Berry contacted me within 10 minutes but not expecting his call we had gone out. We played phone tag for awhile but once appointment was made, it was prompt and efficient. super nice and very professional people.

Jim was prompt and thorough. He explained everything he was going to do. He worked quickly and efficiently. Jim removed a water softener system that we no longer use, then re-plumbed the water line. He was very personable and knowledgable. I felt he charged a very reasonable price for the work. I will use Clearwater Plumbing every time I need any plumbing work done.

We liked them and enjoyed working with this company. They came right out after we called them. He had to come back. He ordered a part and came back after we were back from vacation. The water heater is working great now.

Jim Berry was very professional in all his dealings with me. He was quick to respond, reasonable to work with, and fair in his pricing.



Jim was happy to install a water heater that I had purchased elsewhere, and to discuss the installation options available. He did not attempt to and quot;selland quot; me on additional work that was not necessary, but did only what I had requested and what current code required. His final charge for the work turned out to be LOWER than his estimate when he found out that the addition of an expansion tank was not necessary, given the way my well-water system was piped.



Of special note was the care that Clearwater took to protect our property when removing the two old water heaters from the attic, down a narrow stairway, and out the front entrance. They placed protective matting along the full path and took great care when handling the old and new water heaters to protect walls, woodwork and furniture. The used three men to do the work carefully and safely. And, although both old tanks still contained water, and one had water-saturated insulation that was dripping, there was no water spilled onto the carpet or other floors. They even work paper booties when walking through the house!



To reduce costs, I offered to dispose of the old water heaters at the local waste disposal site. Jim and his crew loaded them into my truck for me.



Since I was planning to install a hot water recirculation system following the water heater replacement, I asked Jim for recommendations and suggestions. He readily advisee me on several considerations about hot water recirculation systems, even though it was not an item that he was installing.



I would not hesitate to recommend Clearwater Plumbing or Jim Berry for plumbing work in a residential setting.

He replaced our water heater. Also made sure all the plumbing was currently up to code.

My experience with them was really good. The guy gave me a bid, came out and did the plumbing repair. He had to go out for parts, and he came back. He was really good! In addition, I think his pricing is very reasonable. I am planning on using him again.

Very well, he showed when he said he would, he was very careful about cleaning up after the work, etc.

This was our second experience with Clearwater and it again was great. Very knowledgeable and thorough. We will use them again.

He never showed up and did not call with any sort of explanation as to why he didn't show up.

This plumbing company provided great service. The workers were pleasant and professional.

I made an appointment with Jim Berry, Owner, approximately 24 hrs prior to our appointment time. I waited for 2 hrs after the appointment time had passed at which time I called Jim. He was on another job and said that it was taking him longer than he anticipated and that it would be another two hrs before he could be at my house. He asked if we might be able to re-schedule for the next day. I told him that we might re-schedule but that I did not want to do it at this time. He apologized for taking up my time and said that he should have called me when he realized that he would be late for our appointment.

Jim seems like a nice guy but honestly he seems overworked and very tired whenever I have spoken to him on the phone. I need a dependable, quality electrician to do my job and I just don't feel that he is the one to hire.

I am doing a major kitchen remodel on my house and scheduling several sub-contractors. My time is very valuable and scheduling has to be done accurately. Therefore I chose another plumber. I will report on the other company soon.

Nice man and figured out a problem that we had for some time. Tends to talk.

A pipe was leaking in the slab of my house. I called Clearwater on a Monday morning and Jim was at my house 30 minutes later. He turned off the water, then installed a valve in my garage so I could regulate it more easily. He found the pipe that was leaking, repaired it, cleaned everything up really well and was gone in less than a day without drilling my slab. He even recommended a carpenter to do the patches in the few holes that they had to cut in the wall. I thought that it was also done at a quite reasonable cost considering the problem and the work involved. He took what could have been an awful experience and made things good. I would call Clearwater again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous - we are so happy with the work and the provider. They are prompt, efficient, clean, neat and expert - and very nice people, to boot.
