It was very hard to get them to start my project after I signed the contract and paid half down. The quality of their work was good but over priced as the plants are tiny. My main complaint is the lack of communication from their admin, we finally just went directly to Mark for information.

"First, thank you for your honest feedback and for your business! We always welcome and value feedback from our clients. Second, please accept our sincere apology for communication issues. We were making some responsibility transitions with our admin staff that created the miss. You mentioned concerns about the timing of installation, but we installed your landscape within the time frame that we estimated, 2-3 weeks from the Feb 14 contract date. We would have been there a little sooner had we not experienced rain days in that time period. Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee start and completion dates because of things like weather delays and that is part of our contract. We always do our best to keep timelines so that our clients can enjoy their outdoor spaces sooner rather than later. Finally, we want to reassure you that your plants may look small because they have been trimmed by the nursery to promote spring growth and bloom, but with proper watering, especially in the first 30 days, they will grow and become beautiful and lush just in time for spring and summer enjoyment. Installing more mature plants, if they are even available, can increase the cost by double or more and it's unnecessary because we know the plants will grow without the extra expense to our clients. Your plants are high quality, nursery grown plants and will do well as we come into the growing season. Terrible! Feel like I was robbed. Charged $500 for a "design" plan a kid could have come up with. Not to scale and very basic garden. I wanted some help designing around a pool as I had never attempted that before. The plan was elementary with no "design". We just moved back to League City from Denton. Two years ago we hired a company in Denton for the same service. TOTALLY different outcome. That company provided a to scale, detailed plan. We are DIYers and the Denton company even assisted us in purchasing the plants at a discount, delivered them to our home with detailed planting instructions so we would have beautiful gardens. And we did! He even stopped by later to see how everything turned out. THAT is customer service I don't mind paying for. We accepted Marks plan and paid him because I made a deal and I always do what I agree to. However, as more time passes the madder I get. Threw away $500 for nothing.

I had a wonderful experience with Mark Buxton and his crew. They were all very professional. When Mark had to leave to get more materials the crew never quite working. Kyle, Marco and Gab were very knowledgeable about what was going on. Also I do not want to leave Marks wife Lori out she was very easy to work with and also very professional. All my questions and concerns were answered. I would recommend this company too any of my friends. Thank you American Property Improvement Love my new patio and my awesome new grass.

Mark and the crew were very professional. Saw through to completion of job today. The young man who placed the pavers was an artist. They removed wood deck and concrete and hauled away all the detritus. Went above and beyond in fixing the grass as well. Highly recommended.
