Elmer Brown is a crook. His third party vendors stop painting because he owed them money. The granite vendor he was going to use told me that she was very reluctant to work with Brown because he did not pay as promised for a job she did and that she had to chase him down to get paid. We paid Brown $6000 up front and he never finished the work. I took him to JS- Small Claim court and won the case# 0700560G from the Justice of the Peace precinct 4 Place 1. Brown has yet to pay me and I am accumulating 5% interest every year he fails to pay me the granted $5440.00. I also have a lein on his business and residence for 10 years. Never use Brown & Co!
Description of Work: Brown demo the bathroom and removed all materials. Brown told us we had major leaks behind the shower, I had insurance company verify and it was not the case. He was suppose to show for the meeting and never showed. He hired a third party paint crew who stopped coming because Brown did not pay an agreed upfront charge or either still owed them from a previous roofing job. Brown stop showing up or sending vendors in. I tried to get money back and he wanted me to sign a document that allowed him to list the cost and wasnot an honest document. He promised to refund the rest of our money and to this day still owes us $5440 plus 5% interest every year.
