Unit was not cooling Tech found that the coil in the attic had a small Freon leak. He ordered then coil but due to Covid was delayed in arriving. While waiting they came out and Made sure the unit was topped off on Freon to keep us cool. Great service and friendly staff.

Charged more for a condenser and coil than I was recently quoted by another company for a whole system and a new return. Stopped working a few months later, called them thinking it was still under warranty, and tech said this time it was the furnace. Told my wife it looked like someone had taken a blow torch to it. Quoted 2500 to replace. Called another company who said it was a small electrical problem and fixed it for 400. Bottom line: this company lies and overcharges. Do not ever use this company for anything.

The check up of the main house central HVAC unit was fine. They charged me only $80 for the check-up to validate that the unit was in good working condition for the summer.
The problem comes in with providing me a quote to replace the PTAC (i.e., motel unit) that I have in my game room. The unit was very old (over 40 years), and had finally froze up and needed to be replaced. Wilson Heat & Air quoted me an all-in cost of $4200, which included the new PTAC unit, labor, and any possible modifications to the house that would be required. I told them I needed to get a second opinion based on their price, and they assured me it was fair.
Doing just a little research, I found that I could replace my old GE unit with a brand new GE unit with the EXACT same dimensions, and not have to perform any modifications to the house. All I needed to do was slide the old unit out, and slide the new unit in. Wilson's clearly had no idea this was an option because they didn't bother to even offer the same brand in their quote (they offered up an Amana unit).
I replaced the unit for under $1000 total (basically the cost of the unit only). Compared to Wilson's $4200 quote. I cannot begin to express what a RIPOFF they would have been had I chose not to do research on my own and go a different direction.
I feel like Wilson intentionally and knowingly provided a "through the roof" quote, which in my eyes is incredibly bad business.
I will NOT being using Wilson at any point in the future.

Between Oct 30 and Nov 7 they came out at least 6 times.
On first visit they said that we needed to replace plenum (which we were told was too small for system (which they initially installed) and control board (supposedly because of rats). Were told that we would need wireless control board because of rats chewing wires. Control board was to be replaced because of low voltage problem which they said was bad connection to fuse panel.
Was also told need to increase size of a return air wall grille.
Charged $450 to return air plenum
Charged $350 for wireless control board and wireless thermostat.
After 4 to 5 times of blaming my wireless router (which is silly since they installed their own router)
Also saying there was a problem between my fuse panel and their transformer, which kept blowing.
I finally called my electrician and after working with them determined that there was a problem between the condenser and my AC unit.
Also charged another $425 to run new wire from condenser to control board.
Upon questioning the tech could not explain why they had installed the a larger return air grille after telling me if wasn't functional.
They also reinstalled my original thermostat
The main tech I was told was very experienced installing AC unit in new houses but it didn't seem like he had much with troubleshooting.
Seems to be problem with tunnel vision because they were very focused on the problem between the wiring between my fuse panel and the new control board, which a result of consultation with my electrician, turned out to not be the problem.
