+ -1 moreThe owner was very friendly and explained what she did up front and we could not come to the sale. Although she said she did big sales in the Dallas area, we felt that strategy did not work for a small town. The gross receipts were $5359. There is no accountability of the owner unless you want to employ a clerk to be present at the sale to tally up sales. The owner was not present for the whole sale and left for vacation the day after. Verbally she said she was going to meet us after she came back from vacation. I had to email her several times to ask when we would meet or get a check. She never answered but did send the check. We would not use the company again nor would we recommend it.
Description of Work: The company was contracted to the sell items in my parents house after they passed. A crew came in and priced the items, with a reserve on a piece of furniture, advertised the sale, and ran the estate sale for three days from 9am-3pm. The company fee (35%) was based on the gross sales. It was the going rate.

+ -1 moreThey were kind to my grandmother, who had to move to an assisted living facility, and they were sensitive to the fact that selling your estate is not an easy process. They were professional and took care of everything. I handed it over to them and they took care of everything.
Description of Work: We used them to liquidate my grandfather's estate. They handled an estate sale. They get a commission, based on your sales.
