TWIN OAKS CUSTOM CABINETRY

Overall, very good. There was a misunderstanding about the type of wood we wanted to use but I think it was a communication issue on both sides. Very helpful in terms of design and installation was spot on!

We had complete help with the design elements, full attention to detail and installation. Communication was great and their pricing was very reasonable. We have two beautiful finished projects (working on a third) and will never use anyone else!

CABINETS AND BOOK SHELVES WERE SATISFACTORY, INSTALL WAS OK. WE HAD A PAINTER PAINT SOME HARDWARE AND ASKED DAVE TO BID THE REPLACEMENT. HE WAS SHORT IRRATBLE AND WOULD NOT COME OUT FOR LESS THAN 500$ TO REPLACE ONE SET OF POCKET DOOR HINGES FOR ME. HE SAID HE DID NOT NEED THE BUSINESS HE HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH!

Kevin came out and measured the space, and we discussed the design ideas I had. We chose a mid-grade stainable alder and designed the doors and drawers. We had several phone discussions after the final drawings were done. Everyone at Twin Oaks was very helpful, and I was satisfied with the final design. It took 3 weeks for the cabinet to be finished. They came out and installed it in about an hour. Beautiful, perfect, just what I wanted.

Workmanship was excellent, the cabinet was measured by Twin Oaks and fit to within 1/8th of an inch. Raised panel doors and sides.  They provided ample trim pieces (I finished and installed).  Overall very happy.  We did have some delayed communication on the front end of the process but it was over the holidays in December.

The process was very painless. I called and spoke with Casey, and he let me know that one of his guys would call me back to schedule an appointment. About an hour later, David called to say he could come by that same day and provide an estimate. David showed up on time and provided me with an estimate that was about HALF of what I received prior, and also a drawing of it. I agreed to everything and was in a bit of a bind because I needed to stain the new bookshelf to match the one on the other side of the fireplace. David provided me with a painter they use often and I agreed to have them stain it. 
Fast forward about a a week and a half and the bookshelf arrives today, ready to be installed. The craftsmanship is incredible. I did find one issue when we were getting it installed, but David's team said no problem and is resolving it. 
Now one issue is that the painters didn't match the bookshelf to the already stained one, even though I brought them 2 different samples, BUT THIS HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH TWIN OAKS. Their cabinetry is quality, and it's beautiful. 
I will absolutely use them again in the future for additional cabinetry!

Absolutely the most horrendous customer experience I have ever had. Had a several year relationship with Casey and had used him on a few jobs for some clients in my business. On the last client, he gave out the work to one of his employees since he was too busy. The work the employee did was not finished and I almost lost a long time client. When a new opportunity came along for another cabinet, I contacted Casey for the work. I did not, however, want to work with his employee again. He again was too busy for the work so referred me to someone else. When I asked him if the referral was reliable and professional, he told me, "dude, ya know what, you're on your own! I have no time for your nonsense!" I was appalled at his attitude for caring about my customers experience and wanting the next one to go well. I let him know that I was sure there were several cabinet companies that would be glad to have the business and deal with my nonsense. His response was "F** YOU!" I told him I would share that with anyone that would listen so he said to please do, and share that too and "like I said, F** YOU!!"
I would clearly never use or recommend Casey to anyone that values customer service. Must say, first time in my life I have ever been cussed out by a service provider.

Called them in feb 2013. Came over and heard what i wanted done. Very professional , explained all options clearly, including ideas from experiene etc.. Promised to have a diagram and quote over the next few days.. As promised i recieved the diagram including rendering and a quote. I wanted o make some changes and communicated this. The exchange happend a coule of times and then the exchange went cold.. I got busy with work etc..and so was not following up aand s often. There was no response from Twin oaks for almost couple of months. Then i reached out again after about 2 months and then they did respond back. Matt then came over and we dicussed the final details and this was rendered, and I was good to go ahead. 
Once the go ahead was given, Matt , delivered the cabinets within a week. The cabinets were done accurately as per the design and done very well. They were professional in installing hte abinets. Came in on the agreed up date and were finished installing in about 3 hrs. job very well done.
Bottom line, other than the cool off in the middle, the experiene was excellent. I would highly recommend Twin oaks.

We were referred to Twin Oaks by the designer who helped us through our remodel process.  They contacted us promptly after being referred to us, and set up an appointment to review the job requirements/scope.  Mike, our primary contact throughout the process, arrived promptly at the appointed time, and was very professional in demeanor, presentation and appearance.  He asked lots of questions during the discussion, and was very helpful in the areas where I didn't know enough to ask the right things of him.  He committed to sending a proposal, including detailed construction drawings and elevations within a week and met that commitment.  When I received the proposal I was pleasantly surprised by the price which was less than I had expected.  I made a couple of changes to the Entertainment Center, and the enclosure for the oven/microwave, which ended up reducing the price slightly.  Mike committed to an installation date about three weeks after we finalized the design, however was ready to install about a week early, which we did.  When they came to install, they were again on time and very professional.  They clearly took pride in their craftsmanship, and were very professional in their installation.  As problems came up during the install, they addressed them efficiently, and demonstrated flexibility as we determined the exact placement of some of the pieces.
The cabinets were provided unfinished, and once the installation was complete, we set a followup appointment for after the finishing was completed to insure all slides, closures, and other hardware was properly adjusted and operational.  Once again, when I called to schedule the return visit they were very accommodating and prompt, scheduling within a couple of days.  Again, they showed up on time and ready to go, and shortly completed the final adjustments.  A couple days later Mike made a final visit where he made sure I was happy with the results and we completed the financial aspect of the transaction.  All in all, I couldn't be happier with my experience with Twin Oaks.  They were customer focused, easy to work with, professional and produces high quality results for a reasonable price.  Great value!

Casey Doherty, the owner, was on time. Went to shop in Denton, to check it out and to change drawing. That way I could see measurments in person to see if portioned out right. Sat down with me and helped figure it out. Was told it would take 3 weeks. They installed it 1 1/2 weeks (yea) area was 105" long.

They did what they said and on time, but we were uncomortable with worker in house.

From start to finish, I was impressed with this company.  I had called many companies looking for someone to build custom cabinets for my master bathroom in a reasonable length of time.  Many of the companies never returned my calls.  Those that did wanted me to wait several weeks to have measurements taken, and then to expect a six to eight week wait for the cabinets to be built.  Casey returned my first call promptly, gave me a ball park estimate over the phone, and said he could get the cabinets built and installed within a couple of weeks. He was true to his word.  The cabinets they built were beautiful and they had many high end features that I wasn't expecting to see for such a  reasonable price.  But here is the true mark of a first class company.  Even though I had signed off on the final design, I had failed to notice that something had accidentally  been change from the original drawings to the final drawings.  When the cabinets arrived to be installed, I thought I might have to live with the cabinet design as it was built.  But I asked if there was anything that could be done, and Twin Oaks immediately said they would make it right.  They traded out the one cabinet that had been changed at no extra charge and did it in a very timely manner.  I am so impressed with this company.  Everyone I dealt with was professional and polite and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or use them again.

From start to finish Casey, Matt and the guys at Twin Oaks Cabinets were first class professionals.  My initial call was returned promptly and an appointment was made to have David come out to measure and design cabinets the following day.  We had our design and estimate a day later, and the cabinets went into production a day after that.  About a week and a half later the cabinets were finished and installed.  The install crew was neat and efficient and did a top notch job.  Every communication I had was with a company that prides itself on customer service, and I couldn't be happier.  I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to others.

This was a renovation of 25 year-old kitchen and breakfast room taking the walls to stud.  New cabinet doors used soft closer European hinges and drawers had under-mount full-extension drawer guides that work extremely smooth.   Casey recommended several changes that made the kitchen very user-friendly.   We went from Red oak cabinets to Pennsylvania Birch, gave the area a very elegant look/feeling.  Installation crew did a great job and crown molding fit was A+ on miters.  Great quality and installation.

This was my second time working with Casey at Twin Oaks. I had designed the kitchen layout ahead of time, so Casey came out to measure the room and had a great suggestion for building an appliance garage using the  wasted space in a corner. The were able to squeeze us in between two bigger jobs, so the work was completed in about a week's time, and they got the installation done in a day.I was incredibly pleased with how everything turned out, and we've used them again since this project.

Cabinets turned out excellent.  There were many challenges to get everything we wanted in such a compact kitchen.
Casey and his crews were easy to work with everything was on time, on budget and turned just as planned.

They did what they said at the price they promised and even faster than they would do it.  I was told that they would complete in three weeks and they completed in 10 days.  I have also recommended them to other people.

I set up an appointment request via Angies List.  Twin Oaks responded within 48 hours to set up the appointment. They came out a couple days later, took measurements and spend time with us to find out exactly what we were looking for.  They sent us a written quote via email by the next day.  We had them make 4 different pieces of furniture and they were delivered (painted/stained) in a couple weeks.  Their quote did not include paint/stain but they had someone who does that for them and will give you a separate quote for it, which was reasonable. The painters also did a nice job

They did a good job. They came out and took measurements and came back with the cabinets in about three days. Our cabinets were fairly basic, but they made them look pretty good. Our wood of choice was maple, which I probably wouldn't choose again because of the difficulty staining maple, but other than that, it was fine.

They went through every detail with us to be sure that we were getting the best product and functionality that we could - making great recommendations as well as listening carefully to our needs and ideas. Then they turned those ideas into exactly what we were looking for at a very competitive price.
