Mortgage Companies
The experience was an enormously expensive nightmare. The process dragged on for months due to forgotten paperwork and other mysterious delays. Phone calls were rarely returned. In the end, the Good Faith Estimate was changed at the last minute costing thousands of dollars more than originally promised. If you are dealing with this company, get everything in writing. Do not accept anything you are told over the phone or in person. I do not get cheated often by scams but these people are very clever. Consider yourselves warned.
