Am happy with the rear patio and flowerbed other than their idea of "transplanting" which was to yank existing plants up bare root to move them. Problem has been with side yard work. Work was progressing per contract originally till I went inside house. Came back to find work done differently on direction of Mr. John Noles.  Stone ring around a tree had been removed (I had instructed only half be removed) Crushed granite width was more than I wanted. Stones sloped more than original grade. I complained at that time. Mr. Noles said if I would "try it out" for a while but that if I did not like it, he would change it back. I have made repeated calls over just shy of 3 months trying to have the work redone.  FINALLY, yesterday (June23) Noles said he would have men out to do the work. Was told 8:30. No one here by 10 so I called. Long list of excuses, but was told the crew would be out by 1:30.  No workers again. About 2:30, I heard occasional noises but didn't see anyone. I finally did discover two men working on the project. And, of course, they were not doing it the way I wanted. Once again, Mr. Noles had instructed them to do the work according to HIS version of correct, not mine. With three attempts, they finally did get it right though it STILL lacks enough crushed granite.  Heaven help me in getting Mr. Noles to come back out with that.The delayed start time caused problems with getting my yard mowed. The back was not accessible.
