The companies tech called me in the morning and let me know ahead that he would be there in close to 30 minutes or so and he was. Once he got here he seemed to very unprepared for my particular job, but he seemed to be a nice guy that just was having a bad morning so I helped him out. He didn't have a tall enough ladder to reach my ceilings, so I just let him use mine. He proceeded to take off the vents. Then he got his remote controlled machine out and drug in all his hoses for the job. Got ready to start and noticed the cord to his machine was not there. Uggg- so the only option was for him to go back to the office or have someone bring him the part. So I told him to hold on, that I had some cords we could see if one of them would work and luckily I had one that fit his machine. He cleaned all the ducts (don't know how clean because you can't really tell on something like that unless you take pictures of before and after) and he gets to the a/c intake with the 18" hose. He is using his smaller brush that he used on the other vents and I say something like "Did you forget something else?" I said " That brush doesn't look the right size to be cleaning that tube sufficiently. Then he explained that yes I was right and called Mr. Lefler to tell him he'd forgotten the other brush too. Mr. Lefler was very diligent to come over with the ladder, cord and brush that had been forgotten. He apologized and said there had been a truck change or something and some of the parts for the air duct systems had been forgotten. I don't think they were trying to scam and they both seemed to be very honest. I would classify it as an honest mistake and a bad day. Mr. Lefler made a $20 adjustment to my price for the troubles and having to provide his guys with things he should have had. In my review there was no maybe for if I would use them again- I think that would just depend on what job it was for. I would use them for a dryer vent cleaning again. Not sure if the ducts were a real benefit or not- I couldn't tell a big difference in the dust and I didn't have a camera or anything to up in the lines and see a before and after. Carpet cleaning probably not- while my ducts were getting cleaned there was a VERY foul smell coming from the truck. I would be scared to death having a company that was cleaning my carpets having sewage smell coming out of their truck. I did tell Mr. Lefler that, so hopefully they will be a little more diligent about making sure the tanks are getting cleaned out more often- even if it is a return tank that isn't suppose to have anything in it that will touch your carpet. Overall seemed like a decent company- he tried to make things right and was here at the sign of dis-satisfaction.
