If you are needing your yard killed and for you to be treated terribly in the process look no further, Lawn Doctor of Denton and the owner, Tammy are the ones for the job! If I could give them zero stars I would. I had sod laid in my yard in April/May of this year and had hired Lawn Doctor of Denton to maintain my yard. My yard quickly started to show signs of distress even though I was having my yard treated by lawn doctor and maintaining my watering schedule. I had the company that laid my sod come out to assess to see what was going on. He advised that he thinks it is root rot in my yard and the treatments that Lawn Doctor have been putting on my yard are actually making the situation MUCH worse. Not once after any of my recent treatments did they contact me and let me know there was an issue. Apparently they thought my yard looked fine but when I confronted Tammy about it she said itâ s â obvious your yard is showing signs of diseaseâ â ¦ okay so she can see that but her team canâ t? Sounds like a training issue to meâ ¦ but I digressâ ¦ I contacted lawn doctor and was met with a LOT of attitude from the owner Tammy. (Background: any and every text they sent me I responded to). Instead of trying to help me she got defensive and tried to tell me that I needed to pay for additional treatments and that it was my negligence that caused my yard to develop root rot. She also made it very clear she does not know anything about lawn treatments because even a quick google search can tell you that their treatments are detrimental to root rot and make the issue MUCH worse.

As we discussed this morning, your previous two services showed zero indication of soil disease and your lawn was in fact thriving on 25 Jun - less than two weeks ago. In addition, we made two recommendations to help strengthen your lawn: 1) A preventative Fungicide treatment to ensure healthy soil prior to installing sod. 2) A Root Growth Stimulator to help the new sod establish and grow a strong, resilient root system. Both recommendations were declined. We view our service as a collaborative effort between us and our clients, and we absolutely hate to see a dissatisfied customer. It's unfortunate that we couldn't work together effectively to get you the lawn you want."

I used Lawn Doctor to aerate my lawn. The office kept me informed and arranged the service to work with my schedule. The guys were so professional and had modern, working equipment which you would think is the norm - but it is not! They took their time and did a wonderful job. I will use them again.

Hired them a little over a year ago for lawn care. Lawn needed TLC, took awhile for the maintenance to take hold but pleased with the overall result. Been serviced by either the owner or a very nice young man (Alton). All is well.....................

They were terrific. Juan came out and surveyed our lawn and did a walk through with me and explained our options. He was very professional and pleasant. My lawn is looking beautiful! We are happy we found them. I personally like the fact that it is a veteran owned and operated business.

Lawn Doctor of Denton provided prompt, excellent service. They were able to give me a quote over the phone at an excellent price for weed control and fertilization. They came out quickly to my home for the first service. They were able to see that I had fire ants and grubs and treat them as well. They educated me on how often I should water my lawn. I would highly recommend them. Plus, while he was out there, I found out he is a retired Marine. I love supporting Veterans.
