I called on late Friday afternoon as the power drops were an emergency that I needed fixed since I was unsure of the cause, severity, or danger they posed. Denton Electric dispatched Justin to diagnose and remedy the issue. He diagnosed the problem very quickly (a very lose positive supply line) and remedied it expertly. Based on this experience, I highly recommend him in particular and Denton Electric in general for having the capacity to do emergency after-hours dispatches even in the summer.

The work went very well. They called at the scheduled time to say they were on their way. They did the work well, and I paid the price I was quoted when we made the appointment.

Brandon from Denton Electric diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He replaced the ballast and the two fluorescent tubes and it has been working flawlessly ever since. Brandon arrived on time and finished the job quickly. Denton Electric then called the next day to state that they accidentally overcharged me and would be sending my check back with a new (lower) invoice. I was very pleased with their service and honesty.

DEI was very professional and went over my plans thoroughly before we even started.  Their electricians were top notch and made excellent recommendations along the way for future use.  Materials were top-notch and they didn't cut any corners with the install.  They worked efficiently and had the entire building wired in just a few days, then came back later when I had the ceiling added to install all the lighting.  They were great to work with from beginning to end of my project and I would definitely use them again.

I worked primarily with Jose. He was good about following up with a tenant who wasn't the easiest to get hold of and get it scheduled. It took them a few days to get out there but at least some of that was the tenant being hard to get hold of.
I thought Jose did a good job in isolating the problem in a one hour service call. I hired them based on a referral from another company I use. I thought their hourly rate of $75 was reasonable.
I was not thrilled to see a charge for the AFCI breaker for $78.94 that sells at Home Depot for about $37. When I called them about this, I spoke with Chris and he said his prices were not the same as retail stores. I told him I expected some markup but not over 100%. He said they warranty the parts and labor for one year and thought the price was OK considering that. I paid the full invoice but may try to find someone with a lower markup for future jobs.

They were excellent. It was an easy process. I called and they came out and just took care of everything. The service was worry free. They came when they said they would.

On the phone the estimate was it should be around $200. When they finished the whole house was vibrating (I think they bent the fan blades when they dropped the motor). They came back the next day and tried to get the fan to stop vibrating. It did help some. They gave us a blank bill and we did sign it. When we got the bill in the mail it was $519.19. When I called them about the bill and the vibration, they took $123.88 off the bill (the price they charge us for two new attic fan thermostats that we did not receive.) They never did say why the estimate was so much more than the installation. I think they have you sign a blank bill so the manager can pad it when they get back to the shop. We have called another company to come and fix the problem that Denton Electric should have fixed in the first place.

The repair of the floor lamp was completed promptly. It works fine now. The repair of the hanging antique leaded-glass lamp was a challenge. Out-dated sockets needed to be replaced and the modern replacement sockets had to be modified to fit the old-style electrical fittings. I was delighted by the ingenuity, care, and skill of the service people. All was done without having to remove the lamp from the house. They came to my house and came up with the solution on the spot. Great work. Pleasant, reliable, and competent people to work with. I had consulted with other electricians earlier and got no suggestions about how to approach this problem. Denton Electric came up with ideas right away.
