Excellent work, done on time and on budget. Helped me find a good deal on granite countertops.

Great people. Responsible and respectful of time. Very customer service oriented and worked hard to meet expectations. Result is beautiful and I will only call them for my next remodeling project!

Went well on the installation but when we showed him places that needed repair he wouldn't help. I have siding that has come loose and hanging down, holes where sliding doesn't meet and where the siding meet under the gable has popped loose.
House looks good at a distance but up close you can see the poor workmanship.
I have called Jerry many times about these problems he came once and assured me they would be fixed.
After his visit he has given me nothing but excuses why he can't come.
If I had this to do over I would not have used this company. Now I will have to hire someone to repair there work.

My experience with Craftmaster Builders went very well. I liked their workmanship. They were punctual, they finished their work when they said they would.

Work was performed however the roof leaked for the first 6-8 months after it was built. Each time I would call to report it, it would take several weeks for them to get out to look at it. I gave up trying to get it fixed - still leaks when we have a hard rain. Also, the windows and screens don't fit correctly (8 removable windows and screens). Again, they were going to come look and see what could be done but never did. Won't use them again.

Overall, it went great. The fascia, trim, and down spouts were pretty straightforward. Jerry came out and took all the measurements. He's a nice guy and we spent a lot of time just and quot;shootin' the breezeand quot;. The acrylic block window presented some challenges.
I was deeply involved with all aspects of the original home construction but I did not have good information on the make and model of the acrylic block unit. Jerry measured the window and said he would try to find the replacement. In the mean time, he got started on the fascia, trim, and downspout repairs.
His crew showed up on the appointed day and got to work. it was all pretty easy (with the possible exception of the 2nd story dormer). Having been through the construction of a house from start to finish, I always wonder about the start of a phase or a part of the project. I worry about how it's going to go and what will be damaged or destroyed in the process. But Jerry's crew came in did the work and left with no problems.
I am a bit of a perfectionist so I inspected the work closely after it was all over. There were a couple of places in the fascia trim where the corners had some gaps. They were not as tight as the work that was originally done on the house. Jerry's a great guy and I had no reservations about calling him up and asking him to come out and take a look. And he had no problem sending the crew back out to tighten up the corners of the trim. Great - done.
Sometime later, his crew showed up with the replacement window. I took a close look at the window and it was the wrong one. Again, no problem and we kept looking for the proper replacement. As it turned out, when I looked REALLY closely at the outside of the window at one of the individual blocks, I saw a tiny stamp on the window that said Hy-Lite. I did some searching and researching and found a web site and contact number for Hy-Lite. I called, got some preliminary information. I handed the information over to Jerry, he got in touch with Hy-Lite. It took a little longer than what I would consider normal to get the window. I remember having to call Jerry some number of times to find out what was going on. In the end, there were some details to work out with Hy-Lite to make sure we got the right window with the right dimensions. A couple of weeks later, his crew showed up with the window.
I have to admit, I did a little of the preliminary work by cutting the window out of the opening before Jerry's crew arrived. So, when they showed up, it was mostly a question of getting the new window installed and secured. The main guy in the crew, I'll call him the chief, looked a little rough, but he was polite and respectful to me and to my stuff. By, and quot;my stuffand quot; I mean that some of the work that needed to be done was inside the house. He tried to keep the place clean. He had to stand in our whirlpool tub to do some of the work and was careful to not damage the tub in the process.
When we removed the old window, the entire exterior brick sill started falling apart. I thought I would now have to find a brick mason to put it back together. But the crew chief said he had seen that many times before and he would put it back together before he left. He very carefully numbered the bricks to make sure they went back in the right order. His guys removed all the old mortar from the bricks. I had some mortar at the house, so that was not a problem. After the window was installed, the chief re-bricked the sill and the work was done.
I would say do:
Be nice to Jerry, he's a nice guy.
Work with Jerry, stay in touch when necessary.
Respect his crew, they do good work.
Inspect the work when it's done as a responsibility of any project
I would say don't:
Be afraid to bring things to Jerry's attention if you have questions or concerns.

Project grew as it went. Old home, problems arose as we proceeded. They stayed with it, worked well with me. Though tough at times as a big job can get, finished work is beautiful.

Craftmaster was very reasonable in price and did a very good job. They had good references and are local. We had one issue but they came back and fixed it for us with no problem. They know what they are doing.

The job went great. The guy I worked with was very, very nice. His name was Jerry and he was the salesman. He was very knowledgeable and very easy to work with and understand. The crew first did demolition to take everything down and it was very neat and clean when I got home that night. They did a great job on rebuilding the back porch. I had a quote from another company that was $20,000.

Jerry Koltes is the owner of the Craftmaster Builders. We had an excellent service from him. He does siding, windows, patios, carports, sunrooms, and gutters. I would highly recommend him. His price was very reasonable. I like the quality of his work, his honesty, his work ethic, and his timeliness. He did the job when he said he was going to do it for the amount he said he would do it for.
