Carlos Custom Fence

I did not have fence done, they did backyard work at my friends home and she recommended them to me. First the person arrived without a ladder to put up curtain rods. Second he had to go to Home Depot three times to pick up supplies. Added a solar light where there is never sun! Third the rod was placed shorter than the windows A lot of money was charged and the work was horrendous!!! I would not recommend this company at all!

Carlos did a great job. Finished the project in less than 2 days and the fence looks excellent! Best part with him was that he did not charge a penny upfront (others wanted me to pay 50% deposit) and I paid him everything after the work was done. His rates were also very reasonable.

Carlos had the best price of the five companies I got quotes from. He was very honest and forthright with what he provided. I had over three hundred and seventy feet of fence to replace. He replaced the first half in one day which included tear out and haul away. He replaced the second half on the second day including tear out and haul away. He finished on the third day what remained.He was cognizant of my dog and wanted to make sure everything was secure at the end of each day. When an issue arose we discussed it and agreed on a solution. And I have various yard and neighbor issues.

They did an extension to the existing wood fence. The door was poorly built compared to two existing doors. After several discussions got it close/acceptable. Staining the fence (which was well power washed) was unacceptable. Bid staining fence but wanted more money to do a second coat for labor (materials were provided by me, the customer). The bid was for two people on each side of the fence. There was one person spraying and another wiping the metal poles. The second coat was terminated due to uneven and running stains. The stain was top quality Sherwin Williams stain veritable combo. Should have been rolled where there was dripping, etc. but no manpower applied to do so. Seems like they want to get in and out quickly. DO NOT RECOMMEND but if hired, do not pay until completed properly. I make that practice with all my contractors- pay half materials if they supply and normally no labor (on short jobs) until complete. I have another contractor coming Monday to fix and complete the job.

Carlos and his team did a great job on the fence and large rolling driveway gate they installed on our property. The only issue was a few of the workers were not careful and ended up breaking a significant water line when they were setting the posts because they failed to properly coordinate with the landscaper/sprinkler firm. However, Carlos stood up and covered the cost needed to get the repairs made to the piping. While that problem was a headache and set us back a couple of days on the project, ultimately it was all resolved successfully, and the finished fence and gate project/product was outstanding. That is why I am comfortable in recommending Carlos, he paid for the mistake and ensured the project was completely in an overall excellent way. Oh, and he was very price competitive for sure, so I know I got a good value for quality work.

I hired Felix Carlos to replace a fence with 8 foot board on board cedar in April. In September a board or two split and the gate in particular was effected. I called Felix and he ask he could come our immediately and it would cost me several hundred dollars to replace the boards that split. I asked why so expensive since I had already paid him 4,411 for this side of the fence. He said for his drive time. I asked when he would be in the area again he said Sept 22. We agreed he would come and fix it then and he never showed and will not take my phone calls or respond to text messages to get on his schedule. I have referred him out several times and this last time he hung up on the customer when he was asking how the fence would be constructed. I'm now concerned I am going to continue to have issues with this fence. The other side was split with my neighbor in October 2019 and cost 3,600 You would expect the product to last longer than 4 months.

Carlos took time to explain everything and his crew was very respectful of my property. They fence is so beautiful. Even when they forgot to put the caps on the post, once I called they came back immediately to put it on. Great customer service

Really nice people. Lovely fence and the lowest estimated I received. They also hauled off some stuff for me at no extra charge.

Carlos was very professional and did exactly what he said he would do. My fence is beautiful he did a great. Cleaned everything up when he was done.

Work was completed on time and the charges were fair. So why the low rating? As part of the work order, it was agreed that they will put up a decorative piece on top of the two side doors. It is been more than 8 months and yet no sign of the decorative pieces. I must have called more than 10 times and every time the same excuses and a promise to install in 2 days. Those 2 days never came. My advice is either do not hire or if you do then do not pay the full amount until the job is 100% complete.

Despite repeated requests via email, phone calls and text messages, company has not provided me a paid in full receipt for a $1600 job.

An excellent job, however, he did not cap the fence posts. He said he would, but did not. I am afraid that the rain will fill up the hollow steel posts and cause rust.

The workers showed up on time and completed my back fence in one day. The owner was in constant communication with me. The cleanup was done in a professional matter. Will use them again. Very affordable.
