Advanced Auto Repair

They did the engine work & after a few days my engine light came back on. Most mechanics I've dealt with usually tell you that it's not related to the repairs they just made and it's not going to be covered under the warrantee. Not Advanced, they said that they missed another related part that needed to be replaced & the mechanic should have seen that. They ordered the part to be overnighted to them, and that they were covering it all under the warrantee. Amazing! Advanced will tell you what needs to be repaired now & why, and tell you what can wait until a later time & save the info on their computer so you can avoid additional diagnostic fees. It's hard to find an honest mechanic and Advanced Auto Repair is the only one we trust.

Had to get several clarifications of the work in coordination with strut warranty replacement. IN the end, all went very well.

My daughter dealt with them in Denton.  They treated her very well & she felt the job was excellent.  She feels they are very honest with her about what needs to be fixed.

Everything went quickly and easily. I've used Advanced Auto before and they are always courteous and punctual. I feel like I can trust them with my car (2006 Subaru Outback) and they won't try to charge me for things I don't need. They have a reputation for being honest in this area (Denton, TX) and my experiences back that up. I waited for my car, and the waiting area could use some work - there is no dedicated waiting room, just some seats in the reception area. Nonetheless, I'll go back any day.

Work was acceptable but parts and labor was extremely high.

I sent my daughter to Advanced Auto Repair with an urgent repair needed for state inspection.  They were professional and courteous, seemed genuinely concerned, diagnosed the problem quickly, had it ready the same day, even after we added another repair at the last minute.  They even called back the next evening to make sure everything was satisfactory.  Exceptional customer service.

It was great. The customer service was great. I took my car to several mechanics and they couldn’t find out what was wrong. They were putting a bunch in it but they did find out what the problem was.

Poor communication of cost and range of services provided. $350.00 for spark plugs, which found out Highlander doesn't need replaced till 120,000 mile. Total waste of parts and labor $$$. Performed a trans flush ($$$) when I requested a trans fluid change only. Just generally sneaky and didn't disclose their procedures fully. Can only hope the work was performed well. Never again.
