Adams sprayed the house and the exterior and placed baits to poison the queen in the exterior cololoy. Two visits were involved. Adams was quick, efficient, and effective.

They are good. I've had the same guy for a long time. I'll always use them.

I've been using them for 12 years. They are excellent. They do my house quarterly. I don't have the inside done, I did that when I first moved in. As long as they do the exterior you don't need the inside done because that takes care of it.  It's the Adams pest location in Denton.

Easy to make an appointment.  Very professional and courteous.  Nice equipment.  
Saw carpenter ants so called them to spray the outside of our home.  They sprayed and put bait around the base.  
Seemed a little expensive for a quick job, but they did a great job...so guess you get what you pay for.

They have a very good reputation in the community. We used them in our old home when we did have termite activity and they treated it very quickly. When the termites didn't return, we signed up for their annual service.

I was having a problem with molds and he came out and explained to me that I was correct, it was a moldy issue in my backyard, but because they go dormant in the wintertime, it would be better to have them back out on the spring and do the treatment, so he did not charge me for the service call.  I was impressed with his honesty that I did not need the service for 4-5 months.

We have a yearly contract with them and they come every 90 days to check on termites and install rat traps. They are very professional. Their is a friendly lady who found some termites in my trash and put some bait in there and came back after 60 days and there were no termites in there. They stopped the termites before they got to my house. They were very responsive even over the phone. They answered all my questions and explained how things work.

I contacted Adams via telephone. I was given a quote and detail description of the services that would be performed. The technician showed up on time, both times and the house is now flea free.

They are excellent. The gentleman that comes out is the same guy each time. He always knocks and tells me he's here, so I'm aware. He takes care of whatever we need done. They are very friendly and courteous whenever I call the office. The guy that comes out here is very nice, friendly, and professional.

We called Adams to request a treatment for a specific carpenter ant problem. We were told on the phone that the technician could use a variety of techniques including drilling the areas in question to treat the problem.

The technician arrived and was shown the exact area where the problem was occurring. He was told, and quot;The ants seem to coming from the area underneath and around the master bathroom vanity cabinets, and along the wall behind these cabinets. Every day we see 10 or so new, dead ants from the household chemical we used to spray around the cabinets. The problem has been going on for over a month now.and quot;

The technician stated that, and quot;I am going to do a perimeter spray on the entire inside and outside of the house. It will take a few days for you to notice a reduction in the ants.and quot;

We also signed a contract for one year of service, because the technician insisted that this would be necessary to combat the problem.

Four days later we called because there was absolutely no difference in the number of new, dead ants we were finding in our house. The woman on the phone at Adams stated that the technician would come back out and address the problem. We asked about drilling into the cabinets, and she stated, and quot;If the technician feels that is what need then he will do it. Don't worry, you are covered. We will do what it takes to address the problem.and quot;

The technician arrived and stated that we really should have waited two to three weeks before calling him back out, and then decided to use chemical bombs in the attic. When asked about drilling the cabinets in the bathroom and the adjacent wall, where the problem was coming from, he stated he would NOT drill and then said, and quot;Look, this problem has probably been here along time and it is going to take a long time to correct it. In addition, we can't guarantee that we will eliminate the problem, only reduce it.and quot;

The next day we again noticed more new dead ants. This condition went on for two more weeks. More new dead ants. Clearly the bomb was not addressing the source of the carpenter ants.

We called Adams to complain and to cancel our contract. We told the Adam's secretary that we were very disappointed in the technician, 'Ryan,' and that we thought the only real problem was that he did not want to do any 'work' (ie DRILL) except to perimeter spray and set off bombs.

The problem persisted for another month, and I began to research the issue. Everything pointed to the fact that the carpenter ants were underneath the vanity cabinet or in the wall, and the ONLY solution was to drill small pilot holes into the base boards around the cabinet and insert a duster to disperse a chemical such as 'Delta Dust' into the void under the vanity cabinet and the adjacent wall. Further research stated that the trees should also be trimmed back trees and a chemical such as Termidor be applied to the base of all the trees and exterior foundation perimeter. These procedures were followed per the application instructions for the chemical, to the letter by another company we hired to perform the job. Withing ten seconds of drilling and injecting the dust into the underneath cabinet void, hundreds of winged male carpenter ants emerged, dust covered, from the pilot holes. Jackpot.

Three weeks have passed since this treatment was used, and we have found not one, new or old, dead carpenter ant in our home.

It is our opinion that in our case, Adams was NOT interested in solving our carpenter ant problem; however, they were highly interested in selling a one-year perimeter-spray contract that would have done NOTHING to address our INTERNAL carpenter ant problem.

If you have a carpenter ant problem, please know that it is 100% possible to get the job done right THE FIRST time, with no excuses about the problem not being able to be solved, only 'reduced.'
