My air unit was off. Mark and Jose came and did a wonderful job. My outside unit was clogged up and they washed it out and now have cold air again. Marylin W.

Horrible. They were my elderly mother's plumbers. In the midst of a plumbing job, they ruined her HVAC. She had given them explicit instructions to call the HVAC company she uses before attempting to move it. Allen ignored her then refused to cover the cost of repairs which were less than what Allen quoted her to do it. Bait and switch. Awful, awful company.

We had a man come over and identify the source of a major leak flooding our garage. Dry wall falling off the walls along with insulation. We paid the man $144 for coming out at all and shut off our water immediately to limit any further damage. Since then we have been ghosted repeatedly by the company to have any second visit to assess the damage and repair costs. It has now been three weeks since we had any water and the leak is still going, even if slowly. And the main response is apologies for “miscommunication” for lack of contact. The company even offered to do a full repair for free, but I cannot honestly trust them if they are this desperate to atone for ignoring a critical crisis for our house for multiple weeks. I would not recommend if the repairs needed are serious.

It went awful. The two drain covers were simply peeling off the finish. I asked them to replace two drains and install a faucet. One plumber and a helper said they worked over 4 1/2 hours. The bill was $759.94 and with senior discount was $696.94. I have the before and after photos as evidence. ALWAYS get a written bid. I learned the hard way. Nothing less than a $400 refund will satisfy this injustice

It went very well. Very sensitive to my ac being out and a repairman came out very quickly. I also used them last year and both gentleman were awesome and knew what they were doing. They were very kind to my dogs and to me. I would recommend them to anyone that has trouble with their ac unit.

The city knocked on our door on a Tuesday afternoon to tell us they thought we had a broken pipe since we were using more than 10 times the normal amount of water this month than usual.
I immediately looked for a local plumber on Angie's List and found Allen's Plumbing. Was able to talk to someone quickly and they sent someone out to see if they could tell where the leak might be.
Thankfully it turned out to be a broken and quot;Land quot; joint in the backyard. They called me (since I was still at work) and let me know the problem and said they could come the next day and make the repair.
Made the repair on Wednesday with minimal damage to my yard and the cost was very reasonable.
Will most certainly call them again if I have any plumbing issues.

Very professional. They were able to work us into their schedule on the same day we called, which no one else in the area was able to do.

Everything works, so that's good--but messes were left at each place the plumber worked. Old parts were left on the floor, water from the toilet base was still left on the floor after repair, tank bowl was not cleaned.

We had a natural gas leak on a Tuesday. We called the gas company. They confirmed it was coming from my fireplace. I could not find a cut-off in the attic, so the gas company had to turn off the gas to my entire house. The only appliances using gas were my central heat and fireplace. However, it was cold outside, and the gas company recommended using a reputable plumber that knew all the rules (permits, testing, etc.). At 6:30 on that same Tuesday night, I went to Angie's List and found three plumbers with good reviews. I called the first and got music. I called the second a human picked up (Allen's). We made an appointment for Wednesday morning at my house. He showed up on time and quoted me $800 and said he could have gas on by Friday. I was not interested in obtaining multiple bids because it was cold, I have a family, and I wanted it repaired right and quickly by licensed professionals. I agreed to $800. On Thursday a brick mason removed about five bricks from the fireplace to expose the valve. On Friday morning, the plumber replaced the valve, did pressure test, verified that no permits were needed by early afternoon. I called the gas company Friday afternoon and my gas was on by Friday evening. The brick mason came back on Saturday morning and replaced the brick. He did a great job, it looks the same as before. I left a check in my mailbox Saturday afternoon and an employee from Allen's picked it up and left an invoice by Saturday night. I have been told that this was on the expensive side, but I am ok with it. I believe in the old saying and quot;You pay for what you getand quot;. Had this gas leaked occurred in the spring or summer, I would have obtained several bids. Overall, I am happy, because I told the plumber I had two priorities. 1.) I wanted the job done right 2.) I wanted it done ASAP. They delivered on both. I was impressed with their phone etiquette. If they did not answer, they always returned their calls within 5-15 minutes.

Good response, had to recall several times and wait for plumber. Cleanup was non-existant. Pleasant employees. Way too expensive.

I recently had slab foundation leveling done on my home and that company requested I have tests done for water leaks. I contacted Allen's Plumbing Heating and Air Condition and explained my situation and that I was assuming there was at least one leak under foundation. They arrived promptly when they said they would and started work. They did a static pressure test, determining there were several leaks at different locations. With much digging under slab, they were able reach and fix the 1st leak. They proceeded to the next leak on opposite side of house, access was done partially through digging and then drilling through concrete slab to access the areas. The workers were knowledgeable in their work and although time consuming the workers were careful, keeping any mess to a minimum. Making plastic 'tents' over drilling areas inside the house, keeping dust very low. They put plastic on floors to minimize tracking back and forth. After Eight days of hard, time consuming labor and all leaks repaired, a final static pressure test was done confirming all repairs completed. The workers were very thorough in their cleanup. The owner and workers were very professional, courteous and quick to answer or explain any questions I had. I definitely will use them in the future and highly reccommend them,

They have literally bailed me out every year since we have lived here. They are very prompt. When I call them I have a problem. Promptness is an important thing in plumbing.
