Made an appointment for AM Thursday, the 2nd of May because he was "busy" on the previous days.  We agreed on the parts he would install and that the service would take one to one and a half hours.  When the vehicle was dropped off, he told me he had other work ahead of it and that it would be afternoon before completion.  I left the vehicle rather than wait half a day.  When I returned at 4:30 PM, he had just started on the vehicle.  At that time, he informed me that he didn't have the parts we had agreed upon but he would provide better parts at the same cost.  When he finished after 6:00 PM, I became aware that the parts he had used we not better but rather cheaper and that he had short cut the install process using a single circuit breaker instead of the required two breakers.  He still charged me the same price.  After arriving home, I also discovered that the 4 wire harness that was factory installed had been cut off and its wiring had been used for the the seven wire installation.  Virtually all of the electrical tape used to insulate the wiring harness had unraveled and was hanging out from under my vehicle.  The wiring was draped over sharp metal surfaces in two places.  I was unable to remove my hitch because of the wiring location.  I received cuts from sharp screws that were used where you must grasp the bracket to plug in the wiring.  I re-covered the wiring with electrical tape.  The following day, when I picked up the new trailer, I discovered that the back-up lights had not been wired in at all and that brake controller itself was about the cheapest type you could buy.  It commonly sold for under $40.00 and provided very erratic braking.  I will not seek this provider in the future.
