The culverts they put in are functioning and that was the only good that came of it. I spent $14500 on that work, but I was better off without them putting all that on my driveway. The stuff they put on the driveway looked like it was good stuff and I was promised that it was going to be stuff from a company in Bridgeport, which is supposed to have really good road base. When the trucks started coming out here, they came from Cleveland. I had another guy come out here that knows this stuff and he said that it was the cheapest stuff that can be bought and was horrible and it was out of Cleveland Texas. It rained a few days later and literally I had to go get gravel from my store room and put it on the driveway to get my company truck to run, so I could get going up this driveway. It was down the 4 inches and it was horrible. The stuff that sticks to our cars, my poor mother, she is going to be 78 years old and she is out there with the toilet brush cleaning that stuff off the car. It is like chalky stuff. They never rolled the driveway like they promised initially and it needed rolled down. They were also going to add some more stuff because they could tell that it was sinking down and it wasn?t supposed to do that. Every time we called them, they kept telling us that they would be out in two weeks and it was always two weeks. The last time my husband called them, they said ?oh it is you again, why don?t you just hire someone else to do it and they were supposed to come back and do this for free because it was part of what they never did. They just hired the cheapest junk out there and I spent that money and I am not by any means got a lot of money to throw around and I am just sick about it. The driveway is just worse than it was before we had them do the job. The owner Bobby actually told my husband to quit bothering them and to hire someone else to do it. It was his son-in-law that came and did the work and he has a son that also does the work and it is just a family owned business. What the promised and delivered were two different things. I really was going to try to go legal with this, but my husband felt ht that I did not have enough paper work just because they put the bid down there, and did not write down exactly what it was I was told verbally. They are so far away and I hired them because they do work here for the gas wells, so bring trucks down this way and that was how I initially ran across these people. I would have thought that the pricing would have been fine for what they said they would do. I rather be down to my original base than deal with this stuff getting on our vehicles, it is horrible stuff and is just a bunch of chalk. They kept telling us that they would be out here in two weeks and two weeks would come and go and it went on for several months. I would call them and ask when they were coming and they would say that they got caught up on another job and that they would be out there in two weeks. They showed up when they were supposed to come and with a bunch of junk and it was a nightmare. They were not professional at all and are not standing behind their work. I have made several attempts to contact them and I haven?t bothered with them probably in the last 5 months because my husband told me that I was making myself sick. The last time would have probably been around September. I am just a normal average persona and I have a decent job to get me by, so to me $14500 is a lot of money. I was all excited to get this driveway work done, but it was horrible. They acted like they would do me right when I talked to them initially. I am very much for people doing quality work and people should get what they pay for.
Description of Work: I used Bobby Watts Excavating in the beginning of last year, which maybe around January 4th for excavating and redo my driveway and they replaced three culverts and they were also supposed to do my whole half mile driveway.
