I went to a Dallas verizon company store on retail road, Dallas 75243. They serviced phone was very resonsive.

First of all, ALL I wanted was a dedicated local line for house arrest.  Dan the sales agent kept on persisting on selling me the tv bundle with the phone.  Dan told me that if I paid a little more, I could have  NO CONTRACT and with the bundle it would cost less. The bundle would cost me $67.00 per month, the connection fee would be $47.00...per Dan on 12/17/12 when he phoned me.  At this time I was battling that lousy Flu which was going around in Maryland.  He kept on pushing this sales event and how much cheaper it would  be for me. Well, being sick, a senior with many health problems...all I wanted to do was get off the phone.  He caught me in an easy moment and I agreed.  THAT WAS THE WORST THING I COULD HAVE DONE.  He neglected to tell me there was a two year contract.  I informed him that my house  was under bankruptcy and asked again if there were any commitments...He said NO.  He lied.  My computer was blown, along with other electronics in the house. 
Now I have a 2 year commitment, the house is in bankruptcy and they are going to charge me $20.00 per month on a 2 year contract.
Beware...VERIZON'S sales.  There are 2 entities:  Verizon and Direct TV and they are separate contracts, but they are under the sales agreements with Verizon.  You assume that Verizon BUNDLES ARE ALL VERIZON EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES.  NO THEY ARE NOT.   NO, I did not recieve any agreement stating a 2 year contract.  I did not sign anything.  The sales agents make a commission on YOU, so lying is normal for them.  VERIZON says they sent out e-mails, but if your computer is down or has been blown...as far as they are concerned you recieved the information...EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING FROM THEM.
SO BEWARE OF VERIZON BUNDLES AND SALES AGREEMENTS.  DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THOSE SALES AGENTS TELL YOU...ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS MAKE A SALES COMMISSION.

It has been a lousy ...and I mean LOUSY...  7 year nightmare with this company.  Their customer service is totally uncaring, rude and disrespectful.  We agreed to let them install Fios a few years ago and it was essentially the same...wires and shaudy workmanship totally amateur.  Fios has never worked properly...slow internet service still and TV would cut off and not come back for hours.  We called stressed this and no one ever showed up to fix anything or look into the issue at hand.  They kept giving us phone numbers for the home phone that were either old numbers from a person who never paid their bills and credit collectors were after them...calls to all hrs of the night for a nonexistent construction company...some h***** who charged for her s** life...the calls were unreal.  We were totally upset each time they offered to change the phone number it was the same nonsense.  Finally we just unplugged it and left it. Our bill kept going up by the time we dropped TV the bill was 103. / month just for phone and internet. Previous to that the so called bundle had ALMOST tripled to $187.34 a month ...and we didn't have the biggest TV pkg either.
     We contacted Dish and got rid of Verizon TV...now we have a Television connection that allows to watch TV...We tried to get rid of the phone and they argued with us telling us that they wanted access to our bank account for the internet.  We told them, absolutely not.  They said then we will disconnect your service Tuesday September 10th/13.  They truly value their customers don't they.  We said fine...we have AT&T phones...dish TV ....Dish net...and we do not need them  I recommend that if you ever want service from these people to wipe it out of your minds and find someone else that can provide you with the common courtesy you deserve.  We did have cell phones with this company as well...I had paid insurance to the hilt and when the phone went dead on me after 3 months I took it in and the rep laughed out loud at me and stated loudly...this phone is so outdated ...people turned and stared at me...how rude.  We dropped them like a dirty pair of socks and moved on to AT&T...they may be expensive but they are worth their weight in gold. 

I've been using them for 2 years. They seem to be knowledgeable of the telephones, but not detailed. They are more looking to sell than to help me out. They are not so engaged with anything bought from a third party. They are more concerned on what is bought from them and not a third party. I plan on continuing with them for now.

Verizon Communications are well known in our area and it was the most cost effective way to get services in our area. The fiber optic cables provide us with faster service and we are pleased with it.
