The Work We are a local, insured, arborist-guided tree service company. Tree trimming, tree removal, tree fertilization, stump grinding, and just about anything else dealing with trees is what we do! We handle residential work, your neighborhood HOA trees, apartment complexes, office buildings, industrial sites, city flood control areas, and even pipeline right-of-ways. Where trees need servicing, we’re there. The Process What’s it like to work with us? Our sales team wants to understand your needs and meet those needs with love. That’s just how our sales guys are trained. They want to understand what our tree crews must deliver to make you happy. It really, truly, honestly is NOT about pitching services. We want to listen, have a conversation, and see if we can help. If we can, that’s awesome. If not, we’ll part as friends. The Values We all spend a lot of time at work. "Very sorry to hear about the fact that you were looking for an assessment of your tree's health, but you got an estimate for tree trimming instead. We have two different kinds of arborists at The Urban Foresters. For those looking for estimates on tree care services, we have personnel trained and ready to provide free estimates, and for customers looking for write ups or consulting on their sick trees, we have Certified Arborists who are paid to provide that consulting. I am very sorry that we sent the wrong person to your house. It sounds like you needed one of our consultants, and what we sent you was an estimator. I'll send this review over to the residential department for review of our processes to make sure that it doesn't happen again."
We contacted Urban Forrester and a few days later Joseph came out at the appointed time. We had a Sycamore tree that was about 50 old, 50 feet tall, 10 feet away from our house, and dying. Joseph sent us a bid for removal of the tree and grinding of the stump. We accepted the bid on a Wednesday and on Friday the crew arrived at the appointed time and took down the tree. This took about 3 hours with a 4 man crew and this included hauling off all of the debris. Another appointment was set for the stump grinder. The stump grinder came out at the appointed time to grind the stump and the surface roots that led away from the tree. This also took about 3 hours. When it was done we were quite happy with the job and would use Urban Forrester again
