They cut down the trees, but never removed the stumps. I've called him numerous times since to come back, and he's missed every appointment. The last time was for this past Thursday, December 4th. No call, and he never showed up. I've been dealing with the owner, Clay, this whole time.

We had a tree damaged by high winds in N. Dallas and we called Texas Tree Techs.
They were out the same day and took a very large tree down and hauled it off.
They came back later in the day and ground the stump.
They did a great job, were on time and on budget.

Came on time. One of the workers became sick that day and stopped work due to safety reasons. Returned next day with full crew. Finished job that day. All work performed as expected. Near clean professional.

Clay came out and inspected the site, call us back with an estimate and was by far the best price we received out of 4 estimates. He came out and planted both trees, one in the front yard where an existing tree had been so he had to remove the old roots and then planted one in the back yard. He did a great job. I would definitely recommend this company.

Clay and his crew came over within a half hour. I instantly liked him. He was easy to work with and the job was done in minutes, including cleanup. He charged $30. This was the lowest of the estimates I received.
It was fast, easy, reasonable, and a pleasure doing business with Clay. Couldn't be more pleased.
I'd recommend him without reservation.

he came out and gave me the estimate and let me know what time he would be there. He said that he would call if he would be late. He started working immediately, had notes so he knew what to do. He took his time and did it right. I asked him a question about a branch and they said it didn't need trimmed to save me some money. Went out of his way to help save my air conditioner. I would defiantly recommend him to all my friends.

Clay was recommended by my brother. He gave an estimate for the work and performed the service (tree trimming) very well. I asked him about stump grinding, gave an estimate, and performed well.

Sent a photo of the tree to owner, he sent me a price, then came out in two days later and performed the service.

I called Texas Tree Techs to get an estimate on removing 3 very large pecan trees in my mother's backyard. I called on a Wednesday night and the owner, Clay, said that he could stop by the next day and take a look at the trees to provide an estimate. I live several hours away so I would not be there to meet him in person. He said that he could take a look and estimate it himself and get back to me. The 3 trees are 50 years old and are original to the house. One of the trees overhangs the electrical and cable connections from the alley to the house. All of the trees were close to the power lines in the back alley. Clay called me back the next morning, and gave me a quote of $1000 to remove the 3 trees and to grind the stumps down underground. He said that our bulk trash pickup was the next week, so he could place the limbs out in front of the house which would save us the additional cost on the cleanup. He offered to start that day if we wanted. I asked him to send me a copy of his insurance certificate, which he emailed me. I then gave him the go ahead to start that day, even though I wouldn't be in town to see him personally and to pay him until that Saturday. He said that wouldn't be a problem. He started that day around noon, and texted me later in the afternoon with a photo of the progress. He came back the next day to complete the cutting of the 3 trees, and then returned on Saturday to grind the stumps. I was pleased with the work and with the price, and would not hesitate to recommended him to anyone else.
Response from Texas Tree Techs

Clay is the owner and does the work. He does what you ask and at a great price.
