TEXAS PALM TREES & PLANTS INC

On the initial visit I made to the nursery the owner told me there was no charge for delivery as long as it was not an excessive distance. When I went to actually purchase the tree, of course there was a charge. That should’ve been the first sign that the remainder of the transaction would go awry. I halfway expected the bait and switch on the delivery charge but I was also told that there would be a 6 month warranty on all palm trees. The tree died within 3 months and when I called he immediately proceeded to tell me that there is no warranty on palm trees. My thought was - well thats all you sale......surely you are warranting shrubs and flowers. After calling back two other times and the owner openly expressing exasperation, he agreed to let me come and pick out another tree. The catch was, I had to dig the dead tree up and bring it back - he would not accept a picture. When I arrived, it was a very small tree - not even 1/3 as big as the tree that I originally purchased. It wasn’t even worth my time. Beware when you purchase from this guy. He will promise you a warranty but wont deliver on his promise. If you carefully inspect the receipt, it does not mention a warranty. That is how he manages to avoid honoring the verbal warranty that he promises.
