SOUTHWEST SKYLIGHTS

We couldn't be happier with the brighter light that we now have in our kitchen. The fact that it's a quality energy efficient skylight makes it all the better. Chris did the install. So far no problems. We haven't had a good rain yet, but I don't expect to see any leaking issues. If you are looking to install or replace a skylight, please give Chris a call for a professional job. You'll be glad you did.

Chris was professional and friendly. The skylights were exactly the low profile design just as we had discussed during our initial meeting. I really did appreciate not only Chris's attention to detail but also his respect for our property during the installation of the skylights. Chris, owner of Southwest Skylights, came promptly to inspect the damage and discuss the options for skylight replacement. Chris came out last night and checked on our skylight. It was an old patio skylight with a brown tint. He recommended a flat skylight because it was made out of better material than the dome skylight. He also recommended a white skylight versus the brown because it would make our living room brighter. He came this morning and it was done by 12:00 pm. We are so thrilled! It has lightened up our living room considerably. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend them to fix or install a skylight.

Arrived promptly.  Took necessary measurements.  Worked seamlessly with the contractor who was building the studio.  Ordered the skylight and solar powered shade and notified me when it was in.  He then interfaced directly with the contractor.  The installation was done with the same day.  He then did the tutorial for operation and explained the energy credits applicable to our design.  I enjoyed working with Chris and highly recommend him and Southwest Skylights without reservation.  
Most of all, I guarantee you will love the happy room the natural light produces.

I needed a new skylight that would diffuse the light coming into my kitchen.  Chris explained the type of skylight that I currently had -- and what he would replace it with -- Velux Skylight.  He came when he said that he would to give me an estimate, and was actually able to do the work sooner than he estimated.  I was very pleased.

Chris came out, reviewed the problem, explained the problem - previous roofer used wrong size skylight!  We told him to replaced it and he did.
Excellent job and service.  

Chis came out and arrived when they said they would.  He spent time looking over our skylights to determine the cause of the leaks and informed us that the problem was not with our skylights, but with our roof.  He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable.  We wanted to pay him for his time and he informed us there was no charge.  Chris was a true professional and I recommend Southwest Skylights for anyone needing skylight repair and installation.  Thank you Chris!

It went extremely well. I am more than satisfied with the service provided by Southwest Skylights. We discussed my service request in depth. A date was set and Chris, with one assistant showed up as scheduled. Work was done and completed in a very timely manner. The work area was cleaned and left with the new tubes in place. In addition, Chris noticed that my roof had a sloppy repair, asked me if I had any shingles; and if so he would repair it to meet both functional and esthetic standards. No charge! I got shingles and Chris did the repair!  That's taking care of your customer!! I love my bright bathrooms so thank you Chris and Southwest Skylights.

Chris was very knowledgeable and communicated the process clearly. Installation was perfect, from framing through final install. Chris was very responsive to our phone calls and showed up on time, as scheduled.
We are very happy with the new skylight and would definitely use this company again.

He was prompt to call me back from my first message, a little late to the appointment but called me right back, and considering every skylight in Coppell was busted I knew he was super busy and I really did not mind. He also had two appointments after mine and it was like 4 or 5 on Friday when he finished my house.
He was super knowledgeable and worked fast. So far it isn't leaking lol

I had my roof done today. The roofer was thinking the Velux flashing kit I bought wouldn't work b/c the size of the new skylight Chris put in was a bit different than the one it replaced. Well, I called Chris, and although it was quite lucky, Chris was heading my way anyway for some other jobs (because people are smartly hiring him), he  talked to the roofer on the phone to get them started while he was on the way, and  came to my house to climb up on the roof with the roofers and make sure my Velux was installed completely correctly along with my new roof. He did not have to do that. He did not charge. This was already late in the day and he made time for the unexpected stop.
He makes sure it is done right and does not leaving you hanging. If you want a skylight, hire this guy.
