Solotzo

Terrible! Raul Solotzo is completely unprofessional. He will schedule with you, then not show up or communicate properly. He is a disaster from start to finish.

It was all a disaster! Raul is extremely disorganized and not punctual at all! Never showed up on time and when installing the cedar fence that we paid for, instead purchased pine and installed instead of cedar. The pine shrunk and left gaps in between the Privacy fence that we had paid him $11,000 for. He had told us that it would take 4 days and instead took 4 months and never came back to finish the job. I will never hire him again! The sod that he installed was installed after scalping the Bermuda, which meant that eventually, we had Bermuda and zoysia mixed together. Every job performed by him was subpar.

He was extremely disorganized and would not show up and wouldn't call. We gave him many chances to change our opinion of his work and got so bad that after two months of waiting for him to finish the horribly built fence, we had to hire another contractor that completely rebuilt the fence. We were never reimbursed for the shabby work. He appeared to be very polite and lied when asked about his experience.

They did not know how to do plumbing and it appeared that they never installed a Jacuzzi tub. Everywhere started leaking and they had a hard time fixing the leaks. They threw away the brand new parts and instructions how to install faucets etc..Then they tied faucets with rusted metal wires and hid with sealant. After they finished the job floor tiles are coming apart, grout and tiles are coming loose. They messed up the electrical work, did it in an illegal manner causing my good electrical items to burn (has put 220 volts to 110 volts). They said they are licensed electricians. They installed shower wall tiles on wall papered wall. They just put the toilets, without mounting bolts. They had to apply texture 3 times because they could not match the existing texture(although they can see it obviously that it does not match). They did not nail the floor boards, and put them without properly checking for plumbing leaks. Then they opened the kitchen ceiling to fix the leaks. Everywhere they patched the Sheetrock they messed it up. According to the agreement I provided items I was supposed to plus what he agreed to provide too. They just wasted the material. I paid them full although they left unfinished and I had to get another contractor to finish. This is above the work I had to do by myself. Even when they work I (being an engineer) had to help them to do it right. The only good thing was he speak nice and would say he will fix it. They said they can finish the project in two weeks, but dragged it for almost two months. I believed they are professionals, but I learnt the hard way they are the worst contractor I ever had. This is why I rate their work as lousy.
