Plumbing and installation of NEW Shower. NEW enclosure and raised Shower head. Installed new Toilet and Bidet, and had a tile man come and install a New tile floor. ABSOLUTELY the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a contractor of any sort. Extremely Professional, Knowledgeable, Super Friendly and Polite, well mannered...I cannot say enough GOOD things about them. They remember my name and are always kind and caring. Mary Lou is as sweet as she can be, and everyone there is nice and friendly.

It went perfectly. I'll let you in on a secret...They are the absolute best in the metro-plex, especially in Oak Cliff...I have used Sheffield plumbing for years and have never had one complaint. In Fact, it is a privilege to have them.
If you are fortunate enough to be able to get an appointment, You will see what I mean. You will think you are almost glad to have that clog or project to call them on. It is always a pleasure to work with them and everything is always handled in the most professional way possible, even though they make you feel like family. Thomas came out to do an assessment of my issue. I had no pressure on my hot water line to the master bathroom. After looking at the inside my house, He crawled under the house to look at the pipes.  While under the house he noted other problems that had nothing to do with the hot water pressure issue but that needed to be fixed, but not immediately. He determined I needed a new hot water heater and was astounded mine had lasted as long as it did (31 years). He inspected the closet where I had the water heater and noted that he would have to revent the water heater as the old venting was no longer up to code and that he would have to fix a soft spot in the subflooring so the water heater would level.  He told me he could at least start the job that day and gave me a rough estimate on cost, but also said he had another job he needed to complete first.
Later that day, Thomas called me and said the firm could complete the work that evening, if I was willing to have guys working until later that night. It was fine with me as long as I was only paying regular rates. So at 5PM two gentlemen begin work on installing my new water heater. It took longer than anticipated so was pricier than anticipated. The guys did work through a rainstorm (they were outside for a bunch of it) and did not complete until 10:30 PM. At the end, I have hot water for my morning shower and LOTS of pressure.
Thomas called me the next morning to ensure that everything was working well and that I didn't have any concerns.
I have used Sheffield in the past. These guys know their stuff. They know old houses and do the work right the first time.

Professional, punctual, and honest. I will definitely be using Sheffield for all of my future plumbing needs.

I was happy with them. They showed up when they said they would and they did what they said they would do. They fixed the problem, which other companies have not been able to do.

I am almost speechless this evening. I phoned Sheffield Plumbing early Wednesday morning to request service due to their company being located in the neighborhood. Ten minutes later I received a call from a very pleasant individual that assessed my situation and apologized that they were unable to schedule me until Friday. She stated that if it was not urgent that she would call as soon as an opening became available, most certainly on Friday. She requested that if I could no longer wait that I phone her to let her know. Promptly at 0830 on Friday, I received a call from Thomas to let me know that he could be at my home in 25 mins.



I have to say that Thomas was one of the most courteous and respectful individuals I have ever met (I am a cardiac nurse and we know a few things about this!!). The time it took to complete this request and the price were as expected. I was also on a series of conference calls that he so patiently waited for me to complete as he did not want to interrupt the discussion. I cannot even get my child or my husband to do this!





I already have Sheffield Plumbing in my contact list and will NEVER use anyone but them!

Everything went smoothly, no unforseen problems. The service was fairly routine. The plumber arrived on time, was professional and efficient. The cost of the service was very fair. I would definitely rehire.

I got a referral from a neighbor and called them up to schedule the appointment. Thomas was right on time, and knew what was happening with my very old tub (original tub/plumbing in my 1938 house). As it turned out, we were going to have to look at more extensive options, so he left to do research and sent me a quote with the options in a day or two. I opted for the more complete option, replacing the entire valve assembly, that included the diverter from the tub spout to the shower, and scheduled the service for a few weeks out. As if the tub knew what was happening, the diverter started to give up, making for a very sad shower. I called Sheffield again to move the appointment up. We did that with no problem, and Thomas was there again with all the needed parts to completely fix the problem. During the process, he discovered that I had galvanized pipe instead of copper, so he took care of that as well. Despite being at my house the entire day, and wrangling with a hinky pipe situation in the wall, he charged me the original quoted price. I also know that now the tub will work for another 75 years without problems!

I hired Sheffield to fix some obviously bad plumbing work on a house I just purchased. I knew there was alot of shoddy workmanship to fix! Thomas came out and gave me several bids on each part of the job. He moved/replaced a hot water heater from an interior closet to underneath the crawlspace of the house (which was a brilliant suggestion by him that I never thought of). We also fixed a multitude of other misc. problems all over the house that even my home inspector missed.
He explained every problem that was found, we would look at it together and discuss options for repair. They did a great job!

Did not go at all...So sad after being a loyal customer for years..

update all concerns resolved...

.Sheffield plumbing is a family owned business, they do great work at a reasonable price. They are very trustworthy.

O.K until I received a bill in the mail.They billed almost 2 hours over what time was spent...Also billed for material that was not used..It breaks my heart to give this company a bad review..They have worked for me for years..I am still trying to resolve billing issues..They tend to start time when they pull up and then sit in the truck and talk on the phone on your time..
I have spent almost 2,000 on repairs in the last 3 months...I should have started to track time and parts a lot sooner...

All disputes resolved.. as of today 08/22/2011. Thank you Thomas=) I will be spending another 1500. dollar for a complete new gas system..I think maybe this was just a hiccup for Sheffield..

Update gas line installed. All leaks made by foundation men fixed. Thanks Thomas..
