Can't recommend Sewell Shutters highly enough. From quality of product to professionalism, they can't be beat. Plantation shutters are a significant investment. We purchased a remodeled home that had absolutely no window treatments. We started the window treatment process with getting bids for the front four windows. First we contacted Lowe's and got a bid for their Graber hardwood shutters. Next we contacted Sewell. We were impressed to learn that instead of trying to color match to standard colors, Sewell would purchase Sherwin Williams paint to exactly match our existing trim. Further, Steve from Sewell came up with an ingenious design for the shutters on our larger front window so that when viewed from the street, our window treatments looked symmetrical and attractive. Sewell's bid was also $700 less than the bid we received from Lowe's. Knowing the excellent reviews here, we looked no further and are so glad. Our first installation looked so beautiful, we asked for a quote for the rest of the house and were pleased yet again with the bid. As it happened, after the installation of the "second phase" of shutters, there were some issues that I felt needed improvement, so I contacted Sewell and they were incredible, coming right back and absolutely handling the matter with a "the customer is always right" attitude. They took care of my concerns promptly, called when they said they were going to, and I only wish I had more business to give them. Highly recommend. First class product. First class operation.

Sewell Shutters has been wonderful to work with at each stage. The initial phone call was handled thoughtfully and professionally - I felt each person I dealt with was really listening to our needs. The gentleman who came out to the house was efficient and thorough: we understood all options as well as the process. His quote was lower than others and we felt it was an advantage to work with a company with such good reviews that had their own factory. Installation went smoothly and we are very pleased with the finished product and the price we paid.

Our experience was excellent. They set an install date with you when you place your order. We did our project in 3 orders and they delivered on time each time. Steve Black did the sales and measurements, Brian and his team did installation, and Doug Sewell followed up to make sure we were totally happy with everything. I found Sewell Shutters through Angie's List. We will have them back to do 5 more windows upstairs. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking beautiful custom wood shutters.

final product looks great. very responsive and while quote wasn't the cheapest... we were comfortable with the reviews on this site. Also, we didn't expect any deep discounts since this was a smaller job for only 1 window shutter. Very happy customer and great experience overall.

We had several companies come out and provide us with a quote. Sewell was not the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive. After visiting another company to see their product we drove to Dallas to look at product. Visiting their place of business sold us! They came out a few times to verify measurements as our home is a new build. On day of installation a team of 2 gentlemen arrived about 5 minutes early. They had me show them the rooms again then they went straight to work. What I was anticipating being a 3-4 hour install took just over 2 hours. They were super organized and meticulous in their job and meticulous with caulk and any small touch ups. Super pleased from start to end in regards to communication, quote and install. Thank you!!!

When we first came to Dallas six years ago we used Sewell Shutters for window treatments that included shudders, blinds and soft blinds in our home in Dallas and were very happy with the products and services provided. So when we moved to Parker last month we called them again for our new home. So far eight shutters have been installed and we just ordered two more shutters and three soft blinds. Once again we are extremely happy with the quality of the products and their fantastic customer service!
