I will never use them again.   I was excited when I found they carried door levers of the type we wanted for a fraction of the cost of Home Depot or Lowes.   Probably an average of $10 cheaper per handle.   Customer service in the beginning was excellent....I found out that's because they work on commission.    Got home and opened the first door handle from plastic....and immediately obvious that the "finish" on the metal was subpar.  It was rough to the touch...not polished and smooth.   I had been reassured by them that they offer lifetime guarantee and will return anything for me with no questions asked.    NOT THE CASE.   Upon attempting to return the merchandise.....customer service went out the window.  The guy at the counter immediately handed me back and opened package door handle and said "that one is yours".   Why?  "We won't take back anything that's opened."   I asked...."how would I know the finish was subpar if I didn't open it?"   Four of the locks had been keyed BY THEM.   It's a service they offer when you buy them.   They said they would also not return those.   "We can't sell them"....I was told.    I asked for the manager and complained stating....."if that was the policy, you should put up a sign that says.....WE WILL KEY THE LOCKS FOR YOU.....BUT IT VOIDS ANY RETURN OPTIONS."    He agreed that would be a great idea but would not help me return them.
I was stuck with over a hundred fifty dollars in door hardware they would not take back.

We ordered our cabinets from Seconds and Surplus. They are solid wood Armstrong cabinets and the price and quality was better than we found at Lowe's and Home Depot. Our sales rep was very helpful in designing our layout. The Silestone countertops were installed by Seconds and Surplus and we are very please with the quality and workmanship of both.

I thought the pricing was quite reasonable. We were quite impressed with the selection, pricing and level of service we received.

The quality was not that good. I tried to return the stuff and they would not take it back.

I had good luck with them. They had the best price. It is a warehouse.

I had several other experiences with Seconds and Surplus--one with porcelain tile and a kitchen sink. I can discuss those, if needed. My only concerns are: my 18 guage stainless steel sink gets rust or discolored spots where the detergent dispenser drips occasionally. And when the tile I had bought and paid for was not picked up in a timely manner, they either dumped it or sold it without notifying me, and wouldn't refund the money I had paid for it. (I adore the tile, by the way, and would get more if I could find it) I would buy from this company again, if I couldn't find the same item anywhere else, but i probably would ask more questions and understand their policies before I actually put my money down.

Went great job looks wonderful. Contractor gabbed to us a bit much, but did finish ahead of schedule so can't complain

Very well. Nancy was very patient with us while designing our cabinet layout, and showing us different cabinets and designs. The selection was very good and the price was very reasonable. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

I have purchased from them many different times for alot of things. They have good quality materials at a reasonable price. They have an excellent selection. They are very curtious and professional.

Seconds and Surplus has a great selection and does high quality work. The only complain I have is that the original piece that I had selected was lost and I had to make a second choice. But despite that, I was very happy with the overall quality of the job and their professionalism.

They did a great job, and even did our island (about 6 x 8 ft.) with a single piece of granite, which was a colossal piece to get into the house and get positioned (it weighed about 2500 lb., they told us). Very pleased with their work. Note that when you work with them, you have to buy the entire slab of granite, so we did and ended up having a leftover piece that we still have for a future project.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN HOW TO DO IT AND WHAT ALL WE NEEDED. THEY ALSO HELPED US FIGURE OUT HOW MUCH WE NEEDED, HELPED US LOAD IT AND THE PRICE WAS THE BEST WE FOUND ANYWHERE.
