I really needed a new unit rather than a repair.

The service call went very well. The tech, Mark, was very quick and thorough. He found one small part that needed changing out because he showed me where it could possibly go out soon. Better to change it now than have another service call. It didn't cost very much to change it out, either. He said that everything else looked good with my unit. Very pleased with the service!

David and Gilbert showed up and troubleshot the compressor. The found a faulty capacitor. They had one with them, so they were done very quickly. The cleaned up the compressor and even changed my filter for me.

Found the problem quickly and were very knowledgeable.

Went well. They were honest about the hail damage and suggested that it probably wasn't bad enough to spend the money fixing.

David and Gilbert were out to inspect it less than 2 hours after I called Sala. They had all of the right equipment and experience to find the problem and come up with a solution. Rather than try to upsell me on a new unit, and knowing that every day it was down I was losing business, they suggested the far less costly plan to replace just the failed compressor on my old (15+ years) AC unit. They managed to find the parts locally, and I had the employees back in the office the next afternoon. I cannot express how confident and satisfied I am with Sala, and will continue to use and recommend them as my AC experts.

Excellent service and product

good, 6 hours no problems

The technician arrived timely and determined that I needed two new capacitors and that I was low on freon. He offered to run an "Isolation test" for leaks in my system for $420.00. He said that the $420.00 could be applied to any additional work that may be required. I did not understand why I had to pay $420.00 for a leak test and the funds could be applied to the cost of additional work. I ask that he perform a standard leak that would be cost effective for me, but said that he did not have the equipment for that test. I paid him $300. to add some R-22 add new capacitors. However, the technician appeared to nice, but if the leak test showed little or nothing, they would get to keep any balance of the $420.00. That did not pass the smell test for me. They ended up adding two pounds of R-22 for $190.00, $57.00 for a twin Capacitor 1.5 hours labor plus taxes which totaled 399.37. I called the company and contested what I felt were excess labor charges and the office reduced my bill to $300.00 I have never experienced a maintenance call like this. The house cooled for a day and now I have a new unit, bought from another provider.

Sala got an estimate to me very quickly and answered all my questions concerning scope of work, pros and cons of ac sizes and manufacturers. They arrived at the stated time frame for each phase of work. It was not always the same team member but each one was knowledgeable in assessing previous work done. I found them very helpful in trouble shooting when I lost cooling ability suddenly. They were able to discover where another vendor had punctured a line with a nail. I continue to use them each year for maintenance.

They came out on short notice due to the heat, identified the problem and had a spare on the truck with them. After completion they performed a full diagnostic.

were late arriving & estimation of completion time is bad. original 2 guys failed to have ac working so another guy came. older guy argued with his younger helper that i could hear it. left my place dirty, 2 holes in my ceiling(not repaired to date). my roof had a leak when it rained & found out that there's a hole in my roof. pipe was relocated so that going into attic is not easy.
