Richard Gonzales started the remodel. Once he received his money he walked away. I tried contacting him many times. He blocked me on the cell phone. He has also done this to multiple people.

Absolutely horrible experience. I hired Richard to tile my living room floor and to remodel my master bath. The quality was so bad that I fired him before the job was done. I will have to tear out all the tile that he laid and start over with a reputable contractor.

Horrible! RTG Holdings is the parent company of RTG Construction, which is who I contracted for a house remodel. The work that was done was shoddy and the subs and workers Richard Gonzales hired were not paid or were paid with hot checks. He even wrote a hot check to the insurance company so I was never covered from day one. Did some work, then quit showing up. Destroyed my Thermadore oven, used paneling taken down from the living room walls to patch under the roof, poured piles of wet concrete on the bathroom floor, and too many more things to write. Then broke into my property yesterday to see what he could steal.

Slow response. Work was shoddy, had to have another contractor finish electrical, roof, redo the entire bathroom because he did not use hardy backer, redo plumbing because he poured mortar down the shower, dry wall had to get redone all over the house, paid him 46k and then didn't hear from him for 2 months. He dodged my phone calls, appointments, etc. after 3 months of no work being done I had to find someone else. Spent another 40k to finish the work he promised he would finish and dealing with lawyers to handle the mess.

The service and communication was terrible. I would never hire them again.

Do not hire or work for richard gonzales or rtg construction. The have squandered money out of their contractors. They have hire numerous contractors, including me, and have not paid a dime for the work performed. Unless you want a lein put on your property, do not hire rtg construction or richard gonzales.
