Quality 1 Energy Systems

A 5ton 16 Seer Trane system was installed by Bassam of so called "Quality1" in 2018. The system was a disaster from the get go. Coil was replaced the same year and a second compressor was installed to replace the original in 2019. Warranty only covers part and I ended up paying Q1 for labor Every time. every summer brings new problems "capacitors, contactor,etc etc". 2022 needed a new compressor (third one). July 2023 compressor need replacement again. I am now stranded with 80 deg in the house. I am getting quotes to install a new system. Never again Trane Never again Quality1

VERY DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! We have used this company for over 7 years and have spent apx. $6000 with them. We had them out to check on a noise that we heard inside. While they we here, they were going to check the freon level on the outdoor compressor. The tech Mohammad removed the outer panel on the outside compressor and found wasps. Asked us if we had wasp spray, which we did not and he did not carry it with him. He did not offer to let us go buy some or get some himself. He left and charged us the $75 service call fee. We removed the wasps and when we called the office later to see when he would return now that they wasps were removed, they said we need to pay the $75 service fee again. They said we should have known there were wasps underneath the outer panel and should have removed them prior to the tech's arrival. WHAT??? How are we supposed to know where and how the tech does his checks??? We were also told that we are the only house that they have ever visited that had wasps underneath the outer panel. We even tried to escalate it to the other family member, Basem, who had helped us before. After they all consulted with each other, they called us back and said that would NOT come and complete their work unless we paid the service fee again. They would rather be petty and unprofessional rather than keeping repeat business. Several of our friends are also long term customers and they will be hearing about this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL !!!

They're excellent. I have them come out at least twice a year to service my a/c and my heating.  The service was excellent.   I had one of my systems go down one time.  I think it was July or August.  I diagnosed what the issue was and they came out at like 6:00 at night and worked until 8:00 to put a new fan on my condenser.  Otherwise, I would have been without air for one night in July and that would have been horrible.  I'm having them put in a whole new system for me.

It didn't happen.

Prepaid for AC check up. Attempted to contact the company twice to schedule the work and never heard from them. I feel like they stole my money.

Great! On time, didn't make any mess while doing the sweep. Will hire them again!

It went very well. The technician pointed out some wiring problems and a hole leading from the air intake space to the crawl space which needed to be sealed. Through them I ordered a new intake grill to modernize the intake at $300.00. I plan to have them come out and do the re-wiring and seal the hole very soon.

They had a long checklist of things that they are going to check, I don't think that they went through all.

They came when they said they would, and did the necessary work.

It went fabulously well! If I could give A++ to this company I would. This was the second time we used Q1, the first time was when we had to replace one of our AC units. Mohammad is informative and friendly and his guys did a great job both installing our new system and then moving the units. They worked quickly and thoroughly and Mohammad came by to check on all the progress during the install and afterwards. 

His prices are always very competitive and he's a consummate professional backed by a good attitude and lots of knowledge. We have nothing but glowing reviews for this company and we look forward to using them far into the future.

I had Mohammad and crew install my two Trane units in 2013 at my residence (see Angie's List Review from 2013). So when my A/C went out at my rental property, they were my first and only call.  The tech met me at the house and showed me exactly what was wrong, what caused the problem and the resolution.  The former A/C installation from 8 years ago had poor workmanship that eventually led to the evaporator coil being permanently damaged as well as the condensor coil.  Syad made sure I understood the scope of work and told me the importance of repairing the workmanship from the former A/C installation.  He scheduled the date for the installation which had to be coordinated with my tenant.  They worked promptly and professionally as always.  I was able to see the work for myself a few days later and was impressed with their level of workmanship, completing all the necessary work to keep the unit functioning for many more years.  Furthermore, Mohammad assured me a 10 year warranty with the Trane unit which definitely put me at ease.
Quality 1 Energy Systems are my A/C folks for life!  They have done preventative maintenance on my units since installation and I will authorize similar service for the new unit at the rental, also.

That went fine. When they came out, there was an issue with my AC that needed to be fixed so that affected the price. I just think their communication could have been a little better. I think the pricing was fair. The issue I had with them was that they came out to do the tune up and found a problem and ended up essentially breaking the AC and not being able to fix it until the very next day and it was like a hundred degrees that night. I was not real happy with that part of it. I just didn't like the way they handled the whole issue. They were here when they said they'd be here. The technician was perfectly fine. I didn't totally get a great feeling from them.

They did well. They did a really good job. I ended up using the big deal for a weekend service instead of a weekday. It cost $180 or so. I would absolutely use them in the future. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and communicative which was nice.

I realized my a/c was not working at 4am. In order to get in line early, I called at 4am to leave a message to be returned in the morning. To my surprise, I got a call 5 minutes later, they took my info and told me I would get a service call later that day. Sure enough, Mohammed called me at 7am and set up a service call for me. I had a meeting to go to in the morning and couldn't be home to let them in until 11am - they accommodated my schedule, fixed the unit, and were very courteous and professional. And I am not without A/C on a 100+ degree day!

We have been having a problem with our AC for last few years where the water was flowing out of condenser into drain pan instead of flowing out through normal pipe. All previous companies who visited us - gave us two solution "replace the whole system" or "put liquid plumber in sewer system to unclog the pipe". 2nd one did not work and first seemed like default/expensive solution. So we continued to live with the way things were.
 This time in middle of summer, we noticed dampness on our ceiling and what we found was that drain pan has rusted through. We again started through same cycle. Couple of companies who came, strongly recommended replacing the AC system which they can do in 1day - but option of fixing primary issue of pipe/drain pan was given reluctantly and only after 3-4 days because of parts. It felt like they were forcing us into replacing AC - since our AC had to be turned off and we could not take the heat for 3-4 days.
We called Quality-1 and explained the problem, send them some pictures. They were good enough to come out that same afternoon (on time) with a new drain pan and fixed the first problem. And the really good thing was, they fixed the root cause which they said was - our drain pipe did not have enough incline which caused water to backup in drain pipe. We have been watching AC over last one week and it does look like the fix they put in, is working. Now water is flowing down where it should instead of drain pan. 
Inspite of extreme condition in attic where they had to work - they kept the "cool". They even gave me some basic tips of maintaining AC which none of the previous folks had given. For e.g. washing the outside compressor unit (which had some major grime on it), putting bleach in pipe).
Felt like it was an honest transaction.

Diagnosed the problem very quickly, had the part on the truck, and fixed it... within one hour, I had nice cold air... 
They moved to the top of my list for AC service... The nice man even helped my wife bring in the groceries.
