We were extremely pleased with our overall service from Public Service Plumbers. They came out very soon after our call and sent courteous and qualified serviceman, who took care of our problem. A gas leak can be a very serious problem and should only be repaired by very knowledgeable service men! Thank you PSP for a job well done!

Two plumbers (one master and one assistant) showed up on time.  They spent about an hour figuring out what they needed to do.  They disappeared for an hour, ostensibly to collect the parts and equipment they needed.  They were not able to give me a reliable estimate of how much this would cost or how long it was going to take.  They initially said it would take about 4 hours.  They worked until their lunch break, left and came back and completed their work in the afternoon.  They wound up charging me for 7 hours of work by the two plumbers, which surprisingly included the hour they spent gathering equipment and supplies offsite.  Their initial version of the bill also included the time spent a lunch, which I caught and asked about.  They adjusted their bill accordingly after I brought this to their attention.  All in all, I thought their bill, and particularly their labor charges, was ridiculously high.

They did a good job even though they were expensive. It was a very tricky job that's why it was so expensive. Its okay they got it done. They did great I would give them 5 stars.

The company was scheduled TWICE to do a static pressure test and pipe repair after foundation repair work. I took time off - 1/2 day each time - TWICE to meet the plumber and once I arrived home was told the plumber was not available at the time agreed upon by the scheduler. On the original agreed scheduled time - which was a 2:30 in the afternoon appointment - I understood when the scheduled plumber got caught on a job and we had to reschedule. I was not thrilled with this, but understood that a job can start and not go as planned. Issues happen.
We agreed on 9:30 this morning. I was told there would be a team meeting at their office this morning and the plumber would then leave the office about 9:00 and call me on the way. I called at 9:30 when I had not heard from anyone and was told I was still on the schedule but it would be late afternoon. UNACCEPTABLE. I cannot be at home this afternoon. What happened to the 9:30 time we agreed upon? Why was I not notified of the change?
I was then offered a plumber later this morning - but he was not one of the ones I was told was best qualified to do the static test. We have multiple contractors who are waiting on this repair/test to be done. This was completely unnacceptable. I was sure that after being cancelled upon once, they would make sure that someone showed on time the second time. I was told and quot;with plumbers we can never guarantee that they will be on time if they are not first thing in the morning.and quot; If I had been told that when we rescheduled the second time I would have made arrangements to get someone at the house to be that first appointment. Or, I would have called a different plumber - which is what I am doing now that I have lost a week waiting on Public Service Plumbers. I was told one of the and quot;more qualified plumbersand quot; would be able to come out to my home first thing tomorrow. Really? A 3rd half day off work to wait for Public Service? No thank you.

it went good. if you have this done, beware the city permits and delays from that--they were kind enough to turn on my heat briefly before the final city inspection. it was early january. i use them now for all my plumbing--little and big jobs.

My neighbor recommended this company highly (thanks, Neighbor.)A transformer explosion caused backpressure on water line, creating a leaks at the meter and water heater. They came at 7:45 a.m. and fixed the leaks in 30 minutes. Very reasonable price and fast work. I'm glad I found them.

I bought a condo that needed lots of plumbing repairs so my hopes for repairs with upgrades was out of my budget . The plumber was upfront and honest about what my upgrade thoughts would entail, which I greatly appreciated it. The first half-hour fee was a little high ($90 for first half hour then $100 per hour thereafter) but it's worth the professionalism and money you'll save at back end. He repaired all the leaks and replaced broken parts so everything is working like new.

An appliance repair man said that my washing machine leak was probably due to a clogged drain line since the "leak" only happened on the spin cycle when the machine was draining. He said to call a plumber. I called Public Service Plumbing and they gave me a two hour window for the afternoon of the next day (Tuesday). I called back and asked to be moved to Wednesday morning and they said no problem. They called Wednesday morning and arrived within 30 minutes of the call. Once here, the plumber pulled out the washing machine and showed me that the drain hose was just on the edge of the drain and that water was probably splashing back and that there was probably no clog. Sure enough, after reseating the drain line and securing it so it would not come out again, we ran through the spin cycle and no leak! I asked if he while he was here he could fix my outside hose bibs and he did. I think their labor charge is a little high, but you have to balance that against not paying for work you don't need.

Our sink got clogged on Thanksgiving and we called the next day. They had someone out almost immediately and the sink was fixed. Thanks goodness because we had family in town and a clogged sink was not a good thing.
