Prime Lending

We mortgaged our house through Prime Lending. Overall, the experience was poor. They lost (then subsequently found) forms we faxed to them. They constantly kept changing their mind as to what information they received. They did a poor job of keeping us informed. They told us we were approved, but then took another week before they were able to confirm it to us. I didn't believe their lack of rate changes after we locked in (we had the option to re-lock one time, but surprisingly, the rate never came down).
Ultimately, they did approve the loan, but my experience was not satisfactory. Our loan officer did apologize for their performance, but that gave me no good feeling that anyone else would see good service.
Look elsewhere.

He was very knowledgable and professional. He had high integrity. He kept me informed throughout the entire process.

Sharon (Loan officer), was fantastic to work with. We went through a variety of home purchase types that we looked at, as examining property, and she took it all in stride. We were first time home buyers, and she was great and explained every step of the process for us. When we finally settled on a location and made the appropriate offers, she took 2+ hours to explain every form we were signing for the loan, even though she had personal commitments later on that evening that we were inadvertently making her late for. We really appreciated all the time she spent with us during the application, and the process overall, she was excellent to work with.

I've been working with them for about 20 years, on four different home purchases. They are very good. I am using their services again for my new home. Nancy Ensign is the loan officer, and gives outstanding advice.

I had attempted to use another bank to get a loan to renovate a house I was buying. I found them after seeing an advertisement. They got my loan done very quickly and in time to renovate the house.

Very easy to work with. Very punctual and detailed. Went smoothly.
