They were responsive. I know they were good. I know punctuality is not bad. I would have heard about it. My husband is a very punctual person. It looks great. I remember them setting it up, and there was no need to reorder it. He would have complained. I know that for a fact. I don't know who showed up, because I was not here.

They were great. They do great. I didn't have to interact with them. All I did was the guy did the work, and he was good about keeping things tidy. I didn't want cords all around. They were good about keeping tidy. They came in and did it smoothly. Nothing to complain about. They were done.

I called them when my initial installer went AWOL and all TVs lost signal. I was able to schedule a service call quickly by calling their main number. The day of the visit, they called to ask if it was okay to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled 2-hour window. The two technicians arrived promptly, hustled and figured out the issue quickly and professionally. They checked the dish, checked each TV, isolated the bad cable and bypassed some bad wiring that was causing the signal loss between the dish and the TV boxes. They were in and out in one hour flat. Of note, I knew where most of the wires had been run and that probably helped them troubleshoot my situation and probably cut some of the total time needed. A+ work, though. Recommend them to anyone. And, I wish I had called them instead of my initial installer. There wasn't much time for chit chat, but I learned these two installers have worked for this company for 29 and 25 years, respectively.

Didn't get it right the first time, one of the pedals that was working before wasn't working after the first visit.

However, they corrected the problem promptly with no questions asked, and free of additional charge.

I can't even be positive that the malfunction was their fault. In any case, they

were polite, and I was satisfied. I'd recommend them.

It is a family operated business and they do a good job. They also fix televisions but I have never had our TV fixed. It is always the same people there. We do not have any agreement with them. They are very close to us. They are not over priced, they have been here since the 1950s. They are punctual, professional and they know what they are doing.

I initially took the CD player to another shop. They told me that it couldn't be fixed because it was old and parts weren't made for it anymore and that I might as well throw it away. The player was very expensive at that time. I then took it to Preston TV and Video and said that they might be able to fix it. A couple of days later, they called back and informed me that it was ready. They barely charged for it - I believe it was just the minimum. I was impressed. They're a small, non-corporate store yet they knew what they were doing. They were friendly as well.

Brian and Jeff were on time. They were very professional. Discussed whether I wanted to have cables hidden but I went with the cheaper solution where they neatly bundled them up. Bought the bracket from them for $79 and an HDMI for $30. Total cost was $280 which I thought was reasonable. They were professional and worked with me to decide how high on the wall I wanted to mount the TV. They worked efficiently and when they were done I was very pleased with the job and they cleaned up all the dust from drilling in the brick.

Overall, I felt they were very professional and would certainly recommend these guys over the and quot;Geek Squadand quot; or some other big box service where you don't know what you are going to get.

I grew up around electronics and ham radios and I know how to solder so I wasn't about to buy a new computer or pay $200 to replace a $6 part. The only problem was, between my old eyes, shaky hands and worn out tools, I managed to seriously damage my motherboard trying to get the old part out. I took it to one place where the technician talked to me as if the whole process was way too complicated for me to possibly understand, being a woman and all. Another place wanted to charge a fortune. I remembered Preston TV. They installed a TV antenna for me and I was very pleased with their service, the quality of the antenna and the price. I took the motherboard and the new part in and asked if the board was beyond hope. A technician looked at it and said he couldn't see the tracers so it was hard to tell. I asked if they could solder the new part in and I'd try it out. David, who I think must be the owner, said it would be a gamble because they would have to charge for an hour of labor (which is much more reasonable than most places). I knew it was a long shot but I decided to take a chance. The next day I stopped in. They said the part was in but it was shorting out. I asked if they could try again. When I went back to pick it up David said it wasn't shorting out but they didn't know if it would work. I pulled out my card expecting to pay for a couple of hours of labor. When David handed me the invoice, not only did he only charge for one hour, he refused to take payment until I took it home and tried it out. He said if it worked, then I can pay. If it didn't work, there would be no charge. When I reassembled the computer there was no power but because they kept it from shorting out, there was no further damage.I understand that not charging me for the work they did must have been an act of kindness and customer care and not their policy, but that's one of the good things about dealing with small businesses. Things like this are their decision, not corporate's decision. Preston TV and Video is the kind of business that we all used to depend on. They not only treated me with respect as a intelligent human being, they really understand electronics and are willing to step out of their specialty to take care of their customers. I miss this attitude in today's business world and hope they stay around forever.

They brought it back and set it up and it did not work so they took it back to the shop. They still have our TV at their shop. They will have had our TV for a year this coming March.

For a very reasonable price, they diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. The cost was more than I wanted to spend for an old TV, so I decided not to have it fixed. I would use them again.
