Randall was very knowledgeable and talked us through the entire process from what we needed to what we want to take it to. Can't recommend precision enough.

Absolutely incredible company to work with. They have removed several crape myrtles at my house and trimmed many variety’s of trees. Their responsiveness to calls in itself is incredible in this day and age for a company. Plus the company is small so the pricing is fair and you are supporting the people you are directly working with, not a man sitting in a chair somewhere.

I noticed all of the plants looked unhealthy. One in particular was dead the 2nd day. I dug it up and found they had cut the roots off of it. I tried to have them come out to do the work from mid August and they didn't answer their phones and did not come out until late in September. The plants that were brought out looked very "tired".  Randall said to water them every night and they would perk up.  Well one maybe two died the rest look very unhealthy.  I wanted to supply the bushes but Randall said no his nursery was better than any other.  Now I have several very unhappy plants in my yard.  I am going to have to leave them until next season since I just had heart related surgery and cannot dig up and replant everything now. 
It was a very frustrating experience then to get shafted by getting unhealthy plants well I don't recommend anyone else to try the firm until they get their act together.

Last year, Randall did my front landscaping and planted 3 trees and some small plants in the backyard for me. I was upfront with the
information that we would be building a pool in a year, and he said that would not be a problem and that he would ?foster? the trees during construction. Ihad already promised him the backyard landscaping upon pool completion. At this time, he told me the trees were not guaranteed (shame on me) but that we would take care of me if anything happened to them. He never at any time voiced any concerns about digging up the trees; in fact, the whole thing was his idea. Icould have waited another year for baby trees to grow.

Also at that time, Randall created potted arrangements for me. He suggested a variegated plant as the center, and I was very honest I was not too sure. He said no problem, he would keep it if I didn?t like it. I did not like it and told him; he then acted very sad and said he had no use for it and he would have to "eat the moneny". He said he would refund the money. It was approximately $88. I felt bad (not sure why) and split the difference with him (shame on me #2). This year, I called Randall in February for an initial estimate on the backyard, and to relocate the trees. He told me (1) the estimate would need to happen after pool hardscape and (2) he would no longer ?foster? the trees, but would instead pot and relocate them to another area of the backyard. I voiced concern over this, as it was a construction zone, and he said theywould be just fine.

The trees looked great until about the end of the 1st week of April. I noticed after Easter they were turning yellow. I watered them twice
daily from that point, but nothing helped.

Randall came the 3rd week of April. He initially appeared to be excited about the pool.  However, onceI brought up the trees and asked what he would do for them, he became very defensive. There was a comment about ?that?s what happens if you don't stay on top of them,? immediately asserting I had failed to take care of them.  He said there was no guarantee, and as a matter of fact, he assertively stated,? I would never, ever guranatee plants that I knew would be digging up.? He also told me I cost him $100 in plants last
year, and when I reminded him I split the difference to foster good relations and was upfront I didn?tthink I would like them, he made an excuse that was not what he remembered. He told me he wanted to cease our relationship and that ?life is short, it?s not
worth it? and alleged that he couldn?t trust I would ever be happy and it made him nervous. **note: he called me several
weeks before this to ask my opinion on my ?Extremely Type A? neighbor?s project, as he was nervous she wouldn?t like it**.  I tried to work it out and explained the entire backyard landscaping project was his. He said, ?it?s not the money, it?s the princeiple of it.? He then told me he would refund the money for the trees and we would go our separate ways. I again tried to work it out, and he
refused. We parted with him telling me his office assistant would issue a check. It is important to me to note there were several others there listening to this discussion, or as I later referred to it, ?break up?.

Cut to 3 days later. Randall has stated in an email that, although he told me he would refund the money, Precision guaranatees trees for a year, which conveniently ended this month, and he would not issue me a refundafter all. So I have been told 3 separate versions of 1 event by the sameperson.

I reached out to Randall 2 times to give him the chance torectify the situation, and I was very clear I would file complaints if he did
not. Not only did he not rewdticy the situation, he has chosen to ignore it altogether.

As Randall stated, it is the principle of the matter, and that is why t I am writng this. I was lied to 3 separate times by Randall
Wilkinson and Precision Tree Care, and my principles state I have to revoke any referral I have every given for
Precision Tree Care. I do not care to be associated with people who do not tell the truth.

It went excellent.  The team were working on my next door neighbors tree and I asked for the company's contact info.  Within 2 hrs, Randall showed up and gave an estimate for the scope of work.  He said that when his team finished, they would start on my trees.  As it turned out, they were able to complete the work on the same day.  They left the yard & patio in spotless condition and removed the cut wood the next day.

I've used Randall for this home for about five years; everything from sod replacement to tree maintenance.  Randall has always been great to work with.  I don't often get over to see the place when it's occupied, so when I have a question based on feedback from our renters it's nice to have someone I trust to call and ask if additional trimming is needed, or if the sod they put in needs to be fed, if he can get rid of the dampness with more light. I can count on Randall to be honest, as when he told me that trimming was needed but it was the responsibility of the HOA, or it's not a good time to trim the live oaks as the neighborhood has had an oak blight problem.
This last trip Randall was delayed from bid to work as we had major storms and he had trees leaning on roofs and across driveways to deal with. Even with delays, he or his office manager are good with communication, so no one was inconvenienced.  My renter's enthusiasm with the final product told me it was worth the wait.
I'll use Precision in the spring to prep the front garden and get a nice, low-light design to finally give it a redo.

I thought I should update this as I was logged in to leave a review for the our on our rental house.

My wife already thinks I pay more attention to keeping the rental property in good shape than our own house.  When I told her I was going to have Randall come bid the work on our house, she was pleased.  After walking the yard with Randall and getting his input, she was ecstatic.  Her question was why had we not always been using hi for work here?  I guess it was a combination of not trusting our association's tree service and an unwillingness to let the man who mows the back yard touch our live oak that prompted me to think of it.  I'm sure that since she trusted Randall's crew to trim her magnolia he'll be back for any further work needed.  I would have been leaving feedback for several years but was sure I had not found the company when I first searched Angie's list.

It went great, and I would definitely use Randall again.   When he met me at my house, he suggested that we walk my property.  As we did so, Randall provided a wealth of information about my trees (which ultimately resulted in our transplanting one of the trees, vs. cutting it down).  His crew was also great -- they not only hauled away everything, but when I got home from work, you would never have known that they were there.  The yard was immaculate.  Final point:  he sent me written guidance on how to care for the tree that was transplanted, and the guidance leveraged organic products -- which I really liked.

Randall was great. He came out and gave an estimate and explained how and why he would trim the trees a specific way. His crew did the work exactly as he said it would be done and even hauled away a prickly dead bush for me that I hadn't gotten around to putting in the garbage. I will definitely use his services again.

Precision Tree Care arrived on time with a crew to trim three large oak trees and one large ash tree.  They did an exceptional job in trimming the trees.  One of the oaks looked better (after the trimming) than I thought was possible.  They were very professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up afterward.  Would use them again and would recommend them for tree trimming.

They did a great job!  The assessment and price quote process was very thorough and complete. The service was prompt.  They cleaned up after themselves and left the place in great shape.  Highly recommend them for tree work.

One of his coworkers came out to do the actual work, and I was absolutely amazed by his politeness, punctuality, and VERY fast work in the back yard.  
I have a number of additional things that will need to be done in the future and we will definitely be calling Randall and PTC in the future for our landscaping needs.

This is the second time I have used Randall and he is absolutely the best.  He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and friendly.  He loves what he does and it shows in the work.  Not only did they remove the tree, his crew raked all the leaves and cleaned the yard of debris.  They also removed several branches that were not in the estimate and did not charge me.  His prices are excellent and the service is amazing.

I will not use anyone else for my landscaping needs.

Randall got the address from me and went by then called with an estimate.  He gave me options on what to do with the stump and carrying off all the debris, so I have several price points to work with.  This is my house that I rent out and he was courteous and considerate of my renters as well as myself.  He found out when the bulk trash pick up was and made sure the debris was the right size so they could pick it all up for me.  After the tree was brought down and the city carted away most of it, Randall's team came by and finished up the job leaving everything in order.  I would recommend this company because what they say and what they do match.

They were fabulous. He gives us advice on all yard related services and I just am so pleased with this company.

The crew was about 3-4 people. They did a fine job.

They did everything for the price that we had agreed upon and did a very nice job. The only thing I would fault him for is the communication issues that were presented prior to the appointment.  However, I would still recommend him to other people for work.

General comment: I would like to indicate the owner was very friendly and easy to speak with at the initial discussion and made you feel at ease.  He was very courteous and professional in our face-to-face encounter making for a great first impression.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was great. The yard is wonderful. We get people that stop and tell us how much they like the yard. It really turned out beautiful. The pricing was good. He explained to us what it was going to cost. We started at $3,000 and it went up to $3,500 because he said that if we didn't put in the sprinkling system, the plants would probably not survive because it gets so hot here. He explained everything to us and left the decision up to us. We would definitely use them again. They did such a nice job and worked so hard at it. It only took 1 1/2 days so they worked hard and got it done quickly.

The job was started one afternoon and finished the following morning.  I was not home during the actual work so i can only say it was done and there was just a little saw dust around.  The limbs were gone.  All good.

They did an excellent job.  Randall was accessible, knowledgable and reasonable in his pricing.  I will be using him for all of my landscaping needs and tree service needs in the future.
